Iveco CityClass
The Iveco CityClass is an Transit bus, urban, suburban and peri-urban bus launched by the Iveco bus division in 1997 and renamed Iveco Bus, Irisbus in 2000. It is the equivalent of Irisbus Agora, Agora in France. It succeeds the Iveco TurboCity, Iveco 490 TurboCity UR Green urban bus, later replaced by the Irisbus Citelis. As usual at Iveco, the CityClass is available in two versions: series 491 urban bus and series 591 suburban as well as in various lengths: 10.80 meters, 12 meters and 18 meters articulated. History The Iveco CityClass was presented to professionals and the general public in 1995 at the Paris Motor Show. It was marketed with the MY 1997. Iveco Bus is now only a brand division of Iveco which is a company incorporated under Dutch law and listed on Borsa Italiana. 2006 Winter Olympics
The 2006 Winter Olympics (), officially the XX Olympic Winter Games () and also known as Torino 2006, were a winter multi-sport event held from 10 to 26 February in Turin, Italy. This marked the second time Italy had hosted the Winter Olympics, the first being in 1956 in Cortina d'Ampezzo; Italy had also hosted the Summer Olympics in 1960 in Rome. Nogebus
Nogebus was a Spain-based coachbuilder. The company builts bus and coach bodies on various possible chassis. Their products are sold throughout all of Western Europe. The company, originally named Noge, collapsed in January 2013. However, later that year it was acquired by another Catalan company, Sartruck, and resumed its activities. Noge was, after Indcar, Ayats and Beulas, the fourth coachbuilding company to be founded in Girona, Catalonia. It was established in 1964 by a former Ayats worker, Miquel Genabat Puig (whose son presides the company today) and by Josep Noguera, who dissociated himself from the company in 1978. Tata Hispano
Tata Hispano Motors Carrocera, S.A. (formerly Hispano Carrocera, S.A.), based in Zaragoza, Aragon, Spain, was one of the largest manufacturers of bus and coach cabins in Europe. It was a wholly owned subsidiary of the India-based Tata Motors. Tata Motors acquired control of the company in 2005, after purchasing a 21% stake in the company. In 2009, it acquired the remaining 79% from Investalia SA. Apart from their main plant in Zaragoza, Hispano had a second one in Casablanca, Morocco; combined, they had a production capacity of 2,000 units in a year.
