Ivdel (; Mansi language, Mansi: Сапсаус, ''Sapsayas'') is a types of inhabited localities in Russia, town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Ivdel River (Ob River, Ob's drainage basin, basin) near its confluence with the Lozva River, north of Yekaterinburg, the administrative center of the oblast. Population: History Lozvinsky gorodok (), the first Russian wooden fortress east of the Ural Mountains, was built in 1589 on the eastern bank of the Ivdel-Lozva river confluence, about 9 kilometres southeast of today's Ivdel. Sverdlovsk Oblast
Sverdlovsk Oblast ( rus, Свердловская область, Sverdlovskaya oblastʹ, p=svʲɪrdˈlofskəjə ˈobləsʲtʲ) is a federal subject (an oblast) of Russia located in the Ural Federal District. Its administrative center is the city of Yekaterinburg, formerly known as "Sverdlovsk". Its population is 4,268,998 (according to the 2021 Census). Geography Most of the oblast is spread over the eastern slopes of the Middle and North Urals and the Western Siberian Plain. Ştefan Pirogan (1898 – 1944) was a Romanian politician. He served as Mayor of Bălţi (1922–1924, 1927, 1929, 1931–1932). After the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia, Pirogan was arrested on 13 June 1941 and deported. Andrei Nikolayevich Mironov (; born 20 April 1975) is a Russian artist. He is known mainly as a Portrait painting, portrait painter, though he also works in the Genre#Visual arts, genre of religious painting. Early life and education His father was a Soviet Militia, Soviet militia officer. Born in Ryazan, Andrei moved with his family to Ivdel (Sverdlovsk Oblast) in 1983. He graduated from a local secondary school in 1990 and in the same year he returned to his native city. One year later, he began to study at the Professional technical school, PTU-3 in Ryazan. In the meantime, Mironov prepared himself to enter the Ryazan College of Art. Iryna Erykivna Bekeshkina (; 4 February 1952 – 20 March 2020) was a Ukrainian sociologist. She was the head of the Ilko Kucheriv Democratic Initiatives Foundation from 2010 until 2020. She specialized in the study of Ukrainian society and politics. She was also a frequent media commentator and policy advocate. Life and career In 1974, Bekeshkina graduated from the Taras Shevchenko University of Kyiv with a degree in philosophy. She then completed her graduate studies at the Institute of Philosophy within the Soviet Academy of Sciences. Ștefan Balmez (born 1882 in Chișinău) was a Bessarabian Bulgarian politician. Biography Before World War I, although working as Armaments Minister, Balmez was in the civil service. He served as Member of Sfatul Țării (the Parliament of Bessarabia) in 1917–1918. He was one of three deputies who voted against the accession of Bessarabia to Romania on 27 March 1918. After the Soviet occupation of Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina in June 1940, Balamez was arrested on 28 June 1941 by the NKVD. The Köppen climate classification divides Earth climates into five main climate groups, with each group being divided based on patterns of seasonal precipitation and temperature. Pelym () is an urban locality (a work settlement) under the administrative jurisdiction of the Town of Ivdel in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia. Population: Pelym was established in 1962 as a logging town.
