Ivar Alanen (previously Lammi; February 11, 1863 in Virrat – March 28, 1936 in Parkano) was a Finnish politician representing Old Finnish Party and National Coalition Party. Virrat (; sv, Virdois) is a town and municipality of Finland. It is part of the Pirkanmaa region, and it is located north of Tampere and west of Jyväskylä. The town grew rapidly in the middle years of the twentieth century, and by 1950 the population reached more than 12,000. The Finnish Party ( fi, Suomalainen Puolue) was a Fennoman conservative political party in the autonomous Grand Duchy of Finland and independent Finland.
