Ivana (singer)
Vanya Todorova Kaludova (; born 31 January 1969), known professionally as Ivana (), is a popular Bulgarian singer. She is one of the most prolific performers in the pop-folk music genre in Bulgaria. Biography Ivana was born on January 31, 1969, in Aytos, Bulgaria. A Svishtov University of Economics graduate, she then briefly studied at the Bourgas Free University, before dropping out. Meanwhile, Ivana was married and had a daughter named Teodora (Теодора). Career Ivana's father worked along the Black Sea coast with his orchestra. One night during a concert, after their lead singer had gotten sick, she was offered to substitute for her, singing several Bulgarian folklore songs. Ivana had great response from the audience and she was immediately offered to perform with the orchestra for the summer. She was 14 years old at the time and really liked being on stage. Aytos
Aytos ( ), sometimes written Aitos and Ajtos, is a town located in eastern Bulgaria some 30 kilometers from the Bulgarian Black Sea Coast and belonging to the administrative boundaries of Burgas Province. It is the administrative centre of the homonymous Aytos Municipality. As of December 2021, the town has a population of 18,974 inhabitants. Mitko Dimitrov ( Bulgarian: Митко Димитров; born 1953 in Dimitrovgrad, Bulgaria) is a prominent Bulgarian businessman. As the owner and CEO of the Payner music company promoting pop-folk music, Dimitrov belongs to the group of the most successful entrepreneurs from South-East Europe region. Mariya Panayotova Kirova (; born 13 January 1982), better known mononymously as Maria (), is a former Bulgarian pop-folk singer. Career Maria made her debut on a children's show for young talents, where she sang a Lili Ivanova's song ''Detelini'' (''Clovers''). Her first media appearance is at the annual concert of Payner in Plovdiv in 2000. She released the albums "Спомен" and "Първа Луна" in 2000 and 2001. Her third album, "Истинска" (True to herself), was released in 2003, and the song "Обичай ме така" won the Golden Hit Fresh Award in the same year. Emilia Bashur (, née Valeva), known mononymously as Emilia, is a Bulgarian pop folk singer. She has released eight studio albums to date. Early years Kamelia was born on 10 January 1971 in the town of Chiprovtsi. Her musical debut was at the age of 11, as a soloist in the school choir with which she performed a Russian song.
