Itkul () is a lake in Chulymsky District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russian Federation.Google Earth The lake is located to the southeast of Chulym, the district capital. Geography Itkul lies in the Baraba Lowland, West Siberian Plain and belongs to the Chulym river basin. It is the largest lake of Chulymsky District. The lake is elongated from east to west and has two lobes, a western one and an eastern one. They are connected to each other by a wide sound. The eastern wing is about five times larger than the western one.. River Chulym flows to the north. Lake Sektinskoye lies to the east, Kargan to the northwest, Ubinskoye in the same direction, and Inder to the southwest. Sentinel-2
Sentinel-2 is an Earth observation mission from the Copernicus Programme that acquires optical imagery at high spatial resolution (10 m to 60 m) over land and coastal waters. The mission's Sentinel-2A and Sentinel-2B satellites were joined in orbit in 2024 by a third, Sentinel-2C, and in the future by Sentinel-2D, eventually replacing the A and B satellites, respectively. The mission supports services and applications such as agricultural monitoring, emergencies management, land cover classification, and water quality. Inder () is a lake in Dovolensky District, Novosibirsk Oblast, Russian Federation.Google Earth The lake lies in the southern sector of the Oblast. Inder village is located a little north of the northern shore and Dovolnoye town, the district capital, to the west of the western shore. Geography Inder lies in the Baraba Steppe, part of the West Siberian Plain. The Bagan river flows through the lake entering it from the northeast and flowing out of it from the western end. Ubinskoye (lake)
Ubinskoye () is a freshwater lake located in the Baraba steppe in Novosibirsk Oblast, Russia, where it is divided between Ubinsky District in the west and Kargatsky District in the east. The name of the lake derives from Siberian Tatar ''ubu'', meaning swamp or marsh. Ubinskoye is surrounded by several villages, the largest of which is Chernyy Mys on the northern shore. According to legend, Kuchum, the last Khan of Sibir, sank his treasure in the lake while fleeing from the Russians. Geography Ubinskoye is an oval-shaped lake with gently sloping banks. Baraba Lowland
The Baraba steppe or Baraba Lowland (), is a plain in western Siberia. It is named after Baraba Tatars, its Indigenous peoples, indigenous inhabitants. The Baraba Lowland is an important Russian agricultural region. Geography It stretches for across the Omsk Oblast, Omsk and Novosibirsk Oblast, Novosibirsk oblasts between the Irtysh and the Ob River, Ob Rivers.
