Lorenzo Patta
Lorenzo Patta (born 23 May 2000) is an Italian sprinter who won a gold medal in 4×100 m relay at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. On 13 May 2021, running in Savona in 10.13, he established the 7th Italian all-time performance on 100 m and at the same time he reached 41st place in the seasonal world ranking. Career He started athletics only during spring 2016, running at school games. Previously he was a football player at . In 2017, as a U18, he was second at the national indoors championships on 60 metres, with Valentina Piras as his coach, but continuing playing football. Then the same year, he won the 200 m outdoors. Matteo Melluzzo (born 29 July 2002) is an Italian sprinter. He won a gold medal at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in the men's 4 x 100 metres relay. Career He was a bronze medalist in the 100 metres at the 2021 European Athletics U20 Championships in Tallinn, running 10.31 seconds. At the same event he was a bronze medalist in the men's 4x100m relay. He ran as part of the Italian 4x100m relay team at the 2022 European Athletics Championships in Munich. Gianmarco Tamberi
Gianmarco Tamberi (born 1 June 1992) is an Italian high jumper, current Olympic champion (2020 Summer Olympics) and World indoor champion (2016). He won the 2021 Diamond League crown, becoming the first ever Italian to do so, and repeated this in 2022. Career Gianmarco is coached by his father, Marco Tamberi, who held the indoor Italian record in 1983 with a height of 2.28 m. In 2015, Tamberi broke the Italian high jump record twice—first with a jump of 2.34 m in Cologne, and second with a 2.37 m in Eberstadt, where he was second behind Derek Drouin. Sara Fantini (born 16 September 1997) is an Italian female hammer thrower. She competed at the 2020 Summer Olympics, in Hammer throw. Daniele Meucci
Daniele Meucci (born 7 October 1985) is an Italian athlete who specialises in long-distance running, including track running, cross country and road running who won twenty medals at international level (seventeen at senior level and three at youth level). He represented Italy at the 2012 Summer Olympics, running in the 5000 metres and 10,000 metres. Meucci is a three-time medallist in the latter event at the European Athletics Championships, having won bronze in 2010 and 2016 and silver in 2012.
