It's Already Written
''It's Already Written'' is the only studio album by American contemporary R&B singer Houston. It was released by Capitol Records on August 10, 2004 in the United States. Production was handled by Ralph B. Stacy, Roy "Royalty" Hamilton, Ben Daka, Blaze Da Track, Burton Paul, Jazze Pha, Michael Angelo Saulsberry, Mischke Butler, Soulshock and Karlin, The Trak Starz and The Underdogs. ''It's Already Written'' features guest appearances from Chingy, Don Yute, I-20, Jazze Pha, LeToya and Nate Dogg. The album peaked at number 14 on the US ''Billboard'' 200 and also reached number 8 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart. It was eventually certified Gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on September 21, 2004. Houston (singer)
Houston Edward Summers IV (born October 26, 1983), known mononymously as Houston, is an American former R&B singer, best known for his 2004 single " I Like That" (featuring Chingy and Nate Dogg). In 2005, Houston attempted suicide in a London hotel room, and later gouged his eye out with a fork on the 1st floor of his hotel building. He was subsequently dropped from his contract with Capitol Records. Early life Summers attended the Academy of Music at Hamilton High School in Los Angeles. He would regularly be invited to participate in activities taking place in the school's music academy. His management team recorded a videotape of Summers's performances, which they hoped would help the singer land a recording contract. He was signed to Capitol Records. Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums is a music chart published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine that ranks R&B and hip-hop albums based on sales in the United States and is compiled by Luminate. The chart debuted as Hot R&B LPs in the issue dated January 30, 1965, in an effort by the magazine to further expand into the field of rhythm and blues music. It then went through several name changes, being known as Soul LPs in the 1970s and Top Black Albums in the 1980s, before returning to the R&B identification in 1990 and affixing a hip hop designation in 1999 to reflect the latter's growing sales and relationship to R&B during the decade. "Love You Down" is the title of an R&B song written by Melvin Riley Jr. Riley's former band, Ready for the World, originally recorded the song in 1986 and released it as the lead single from their second album, '' Long Time Coming'' produced by Gary Spaniola. A slow jam, "Love You Down" was a hit on the ''Billboard'' pop and R&B charts, spending two weeks atop the R&B chart in December 1986 and peaking at No. 9 on the pop chart in early 1987. Soulshock & Karlin is a Danish songwriting/production duo, consisting of Carsten Schack and Kenneth Karlin. Soulshock
Carsten Schack (born 1968 in Gug, Denmark) and better known by his stage name Soulshock is a Danish record producer and songwriter. Beginnings Carsten Schack was born in the Aalborg suburb of Gug, the son of economics professor Bent Schack and physician assistant Åse Schack. In the early 1990s he dated choreographer Toniah Pedersen for 3 years. Since 1993 he had been living in Los Angeles in the USA with his girlfriend Charmayne Maxwell, former vocalist of American R&B group Brownstone, with whom he has a son, Nicholas. His music career began as a DJ, when in 1989 he came joint third place in the DMC European Mixing Championships. This gave him a DJ job at Queen Latifah's European tour, and later a remix job for the artist.

Kenneth Karlin
Kenneth Karlin or just Karlin (born September 18, 1966) is a Danish songwriter and producer who is best known for his work with Carsten Schack, better known as Soulshock, forming the Los Angeles-based producer duo Soulshock & Karlin. They have worked with artists including Whitney Houston, Backstreet Boys, 2Pac, Mary J. Blige, and JoJo. Before joining Soulshock, Karlin was already an integral part of Denmark's jazz scene, producing Patti LaBelle's song "All Right Now."
