Issam (rapper)
Issam Harris (born 22 May 1993), known by his stage name Issam (), is a Moroccan hip hop, Moroccan rapper, songwriter and Trap music, trap artist. He was born in Derb Sultan, Casablanca and became known in 2018 with his song and music video, "Trap Beldi". This track allowed him to gain popularity being one of the first Moroccan trap songs to reach over 10 million views on YouTube. What is particular of Issam's music is the blending of Auto-Tune, autotuned vocals delivered in Moroccan Arabic, Darija, and classic Roland TR-808, TR 808-generated beats with elements from traditional North African music. Many of Issam's works are influenced by raï—specifically by Cheb Hasni. Issam Jellali (; born 22 March 1981) is a Tunisian tennis coach and a former player. Currently, he coaches compatriot Ons Jabeur. Jellali represented Tunisia in the Davis Cup three times in 1998, 2002 and 2003, with a record of four wins (all doubles) for six defeats. Issam Abu Jamra (; born 6 February 1937) is a retired Lebanese major general and a politician, who served as deputy prime minister in the cabinets of Michel Aoun and Fouad Siniora. Until 2010 he was part of the Free Patriotic Movement (FPM). Early life and education Jamra was born in Kfeir, Hasbeya, south Lebanon, into a Greek Orthodox family on 6 February 1937. He attended Lebanese army's military academy and graduated as an artillery officer in 1959. In addition, he obtained a bachelor's degree in law from Lebanese University in 1984. Issam Hajali is a Lebanese jazz and folk rock musician. In 1975, when the civil war in Lebanon started, he was a guitarist of a progressive rock band Rainbow Bridge in Beirut. In 1976, Hajali, who was politically ultra-left, fled Lebanon with his wife, first to Cyprus, and then to Paris, where he stayed in 1977, before going back to Beirut. In his last week in Paris, Hajali, together with Rogér Fakhr, another Lebanese musician, and a number of musicians from various countries, whose names were eventually lost, recorded his debut album, ''Mouasalt Ila Jacad El Ard''. The record combined santur with the Western-style music with vocals, jazz guitars, and synthesizers. The texts were taken from Palestinian revolutionary poet Samih al-Qasim.
