Israel Stuttering Association
The Israel Stuttering Association (, AMBI) is a public non-profit charitable organization that supports people in Israel who stutter, and their families. The association seeks to enhance public knowledge about stuttering, runs self-help groups, and promotes affordable treatment for people who stutter. It also organizes conferences and meetings for people who stutter, speech language therapists, and anyone interested in stuttering. , the association's CEO is Omri Lipzin. The European League of Stuttering Associations (ELSA) was set up in 1990 by organisations in 12 countries to promote a greater knowledge and understanding of stuttering and to bring together, as a top umbrella organisation, the national stuttering self-help organisations of Europe. The International Stuttering Association (ISA), founded in Linköping, Sweden, in July 1995, is a nonprofit international support group organization for people who stutter.
