Israel Pinheiro Da Silva
Israel Pinheiro da Silva (4 January 1896 – 6 July 1973) was a Brazilian politician and engineer. Pinheiro da Silva was a friend of President Juscelino Kubitschek and was nominated by him the engineer chief of the construction of Brasília, which took place between 1956 and 1960. Despite being an opponent of the military regime installed in 1964, Pinheiro da Silva was elected governor of Minas Gerais Minas Gerais () is one of the 27 federative units of Brazil, being the fourth largest state by area and the second largest in number of inhabitants with a population of 20,539,989 according to the 2022 Brazilian census, 2022 census. Caeté
Caeté is a Brazilian municipality located in the state of Minas Gerais. Geography The city belongs to the mesoregion Metropolitana de Belo Horizonte and to the microregion of Belo Horizonte. The municipality contains a small part of the Serra do Gandarela National Park, created in 2014. Etimology The name ''Caeté'' is derived from the local term for some Marantaceae, in particular '' Stromanthe'' and '' Thalia''. In another version, "Caeté" originates from Old Tupi, meaning "true forest" or "virgin forest", derived from the combination of the terms ''ka'a'' ("forest") and ''eté'' ("true"). Sports 44.9% of its population are fans of Cruzeiro while 40.2% prefer Atlético-MG. Juscelino Kubitschek
Juscelino Kubitschek de Oliveira (; 12 September 1902 – 22 August 1976), also known by his initials JK, was a Brazilian politician who served as the 21st president of Brazil from 1956 to 1961. Kubitschek's government plan, dubbed "50 years in 5", was centered on economic and social development. During Presidency of Juscelino Kubitschek, his term the country experienced a period of notable economic growth and relative political stability. However, there was also a significant increase in external debt, inflation, income concentration and wage erosion. At the time, there was no re-election and, on 31 January 1961, he was succeeded by Jânio Quadros, supported by the National Democratic Union (Brazil), UDN.
