Israel Bar-On ( he, ישראל בר-און; born January 31, 1989) is an Israeli singer. He won Israel's ''Kokhav Nolad'' (A Star is Born) song contest in 2008. Biography Israel Bar-On was born in Beersheba to a religious family. In August 2008, he won the final of ''Kokhav Nolad 6'' contest with 56% of the votes. For the show's finale, he performed an autobiographical song about his new life without parents and religion. ''Kokhav Nolad'' ( he, כוכב נולד) (meaning ''A Star Is Born'') was an Israeli reality television show searching for talented new vocalists, based on the British '' Pop Idol'' model. Since its debut on Israeli Channel 2 in 2003, Kokhav Nolad has become popular and turned out many new musical stars. The show was hosted by Zvika Hadar. Bipolar disorder, previously known as manic depression, is a mental disorder characterized by periods of depression and periods of abnormally elevated mood that last from days to weeks each. If the elevated mood is severe or associated with psychosis, it is called mania; if it is less severe, it is called hypomania. Roni Dalumi (or Daloomi, he, רוני דלומי; born ) is an Israeli singer-songwriter and actress. She is the winner of the singing competition show '' Kochav Nolad 7'' in 2009. She starred in the original Israeli series ''Euphoria''.
