''Isolate and Medicate'' (stylised as ''isolate and medicate'') is the sixth studio album by South African Rock music, rock band Seether. It was released on 1 July 2014 by The Bicycle Music Company, in association with Concord Music, Concord Music Group and Spinefarm Records. It is the first Seether album to be released on a vinyl LP. Release and promotion On 1 May 2014, the band released the first single from the album, "Words as Weapons (Seether song), Words as Weapons". "Same Damn Life (Seether song), Same Damn Life" was released on 16 September 2014 as the album's second single. "Nobody Praying for Me" was sent to US Active Rock stations on 28 April 2015 as the third single off of the album. "Save Today" was sent to US Active Rock stations on 22 September 2015 as the fourth single off of the album. Seether
Seether are a South African Rock music, rock band founded in 1999 in Pretoria, Gauteng. The band originally performed under the name Saron Gas until 2002, when they moved to the United States and changed it to Seether to avoid confusion with the deadly chemical known as sarin, sarin gas. Lead vocalist and guitarist Shaun Morgan is the band's longest serving member, bassist Dale Stewart joined shortly after formation while drummer John Humphrey (drummer), John Humphrey joined them for the band's second album. Since 2018, the band has been employing second guitarist Corey Lowery. Several notable guitarists like Corey's brother Clint Lowery, Clint and Troy McLawhorn have toured or recorded with the band, however, Morgan has recorded most guitar parts for the band's records. Raymond Lefèvre (20 November 1929 – 27 June 2008) was a French easy listening orchestra leader, arranger and composer. Biography and career Born on 20 November 1929 in Calais, France, Raymond Lefèvre is best known for his interpretation of the 1968 theme " Soul Coaxing (Ame Caline)" (composed by Michel Polnareff), which became an international hit. Franck Pourcel (14 August 1913 – 12 November 2000) was a French composer, arranger, and conductor of popular and classical music. Biography Early life Born in Marseille, France, Pourcel started learning the violin at the age of six. Later, Pourcel studied violin at the Conservatoire in Marseille, and also drums because he loved jazz, and he spent a year in Paris at the Conservatoire. By 1931, he was working as a violinist in several theaters in Marseille, marrying Odette eight years later. He then became the musical director for Lucienne Boyer, with whom he went on a world tour. Van Coke Kartel is an Afrikaans alternative rock band from Bellville, near Cape Town, South Africa. Band history Francois Van Coke and Wynand Myburgh formed Van Coke Kartel with drummer Justin Kruger after Fokofpolisiekar went on hiatus in 2007.
