Ismaël Kamagate
Ismaël Sindou Kamagate (born 17 January 2001) is an Ivorian-French professional basketball player for Bertram Derthona Tortona of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA), on loan from Olimpia Milano of the Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. His draft rights are retained by the Los Angeles Clippers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life and career Kamagate was born in the 19th arrondissement of Paris to Ivorian parents. He grew up playing football as a goalkeeper, which he did not enjoy, before being introduced to basketball by age 11 at the Jeunesse Athlétique de Montrouge. At age 12, Kamagate began playing basketball for a local youth club Basket Paris 14 and he moved to Paris-Levallois three years later. In 2017, he started a two-season stint with Orléans Loiret, competing for the club's under-18 and second teams. Derrick Raymond Lewis (born August 1, 1966) is an American-French former professional basketball player. A Tarboro, North Carolina native, he played high school basketball at Archbishop Carroll High School in Washington, D.C., where he was a McDonald's All-American as a senior in 1984. He then played in college with the Maryland Terrapins, staying for 4 years; he was a first-team All- ACC selection and an Honorable mention All-American as a junior in 1987, and a second-team All-ACC selection as a senior in 1988. As of 2020 he is the program's all-time leader in blocks and ranks third in rebounds. The LNB Pro B, commonly known as Pro B, is the second-tier level men's professional basketball league in France. It is the second division of the Ligue Nationale de Basket (LNB), which has organized the league since the year 1987.
