Ismayil Bayramov
Ismayil Khalil oglu Bayramov (Azerbaijani language, Azerbaijani: İsmayıl Xəlil oğlu Bayramov; 1900 – 10 February 1945) was an Azerbaijanis, Azerbaijani Red Army Starshina and a Hero of the Soviet Union. He was a party organizer in a company of the 243rd Rifle Regiment in the 181st Rifle Division, part of the 6th Army (Soviet Union), 6th Army. During the battle for Środa Śląska, Neumarkt railway station, Bayramov was reported to have killed several dozen German soldiers and repulsed five counterattacks. After reportedly being twice wounded, he blew himself up with a grenade. Bayramov was posthumously awarded the title Hero of Soviet Union on 10 April 1945. Ismayil Daghistanli (6 January 19071 April 1980, born Ismayil Yusif oghlu Hajiyev) was an Azerbaijani, Rutul people, Rutul, and Soviet stage and film actor and pedagogue. He was awarded People's Artist of the Azerbaijani SSR (1949), and People's Artist of the USSR (1974). Ismayil Ahmad Jovdat oglu Hajiyev (; born 18 November 1949) is an Azerbaijani-Canadian conductor and composer. He is the son of Azerbaijani composer Jovdat Hajiyev and folk dancer Amina Dilbazi. Ismayil Jafarpour (; 5 March 1925 - 18 February 1977) was an Azerbaijani orientalist, poet. During the period of the Azerbaijan National Government, he was appointed the head of the partisan detachment, the military commandant of the city of Salmas, and the chief of police in the cities of Salmas and Tabriz. Ismayil Shykhly (; March 22, 1919 – July 26, 1995), also known by his birth name Ismayil Shikhlinsky Gahraman oglu (), was an Azerbaijani writer. Early years Shykhly was born on March 22, 1919, in Ikinji Shykhly village of Qazakh Rayon of Azerbaijan. He studied in Kosalar village. In 1934, he enrolled in Qakhazh Pedagogical School. He was impressed by Samad Vurgun's poem "Yadıma düşdü" (''I recollected'') during his speech at Alexandr Pushkin's 100th anniversary celebrated in Qazakh. The same year, Shykhly entered Baku State Pedagogical Institute. During his years in college, influenced by Vurgun's writing and Ashig folk art, he wrote many poems.
