Ismail Mahmud Hurre
Ismail Mahmoud Hurre (Buubaa) (; ( – 5 April 2023) was a Somali politician who served as foreign minister of the Transitional Federal Government from mid-2006 to early 2007. He was appointed to that position on 21 August 2006. He previously served as foreign minister from 2000 to 2002, during the beginning of the transitional government. Buuba was born in Hargeisa and spent the first four years of his life in the Aware region of Ethiopia. He received his primary education in Borama. After completing high school, he received a scholarship to study in the United States, where he completed his first and second-level studies at the university. After completing his studies, Ismail Mahmoud Hurre became a teacher and worked in schools in the country and at King Abdulaziz University. Transitional Federal Charter Of The Somali Republic
The Transitional Federal Charter of the Somali Republic (TFC) was the principle organizing document of Somalia. Written and approved in February 2004, it represented one of the Transitional Federal Institutions (TFIs). The other TFIs included the Transitional Federal Parliament (TFP), which was the legislative branch, and the Transitional Federal Government (TFG), the TFI's executive wing. The TFC was distinct from the national constitution, which was distinguished as a separate document (Chapter 4, Article 11, Section 3(a)). On 1 August 2012, an 825-member national constituent assembly approved a new provisional constitution by a landslide of 96% for the Federal Republic of Somalia. Hargeisa
Hargeisa ( ; ; ) is the capital and largest city of the Republic of Somaliland, a ''List of states with limited recognition, de facto'' sovereign state in the Horn of Africa, still considered internationally to be part of Somalia. It is also the regional capital of the Maroodi Jeex region of Somaliland. Hargeisa was founded as a watering and trading stop between the coast and the interior by the Isaaq Sultanate. King Abdulaziz University (KAU) () is a public research university in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Established in 1967 as a private university by a group of businessmen led by Muhammad Bakhashab and including author Hamza Bogary, it was named after the country's first monarch, King Abdulalziz ibn Saud.
