Lost Dogs
Lost Dogs are an American musical supergroup formed in 1991, comprising vocalists, songwriters, and guitarists from multiple Christian alternative rock bands. Their current lineup includes Terry Scott Taylor ( Daniel Amos, the Swirling Eddies), Michael Roe ( The 77s), Derri Daugherty and Steve Hindalong ( The Choir). The original lineup included Gene Eugene ( Adam Again), who died in 2000. The band's eclectic blending of folk, blues, country, and rock has been characterized as "a sort of CCM equivalent to the Traveling Wilburys". The band released their debut album ''Scenic Routes'' in 1992 as a one-time collaboration. Lost Dogs concert performances are filled with between-song jokes and one-liners between the band members (usually poking fun at each other). Many Lost Dogs albums include at least one or two cover songs. Orangevale is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sacramento County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento– Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area. The population was 33,960 at the 2010 census, up from 26,705 at the 2000 census. It is located approximately northeast of Sacramento. Ralph Stover (January 10, 1760 – November 7, 1811), son of the immigrant Henry Stauffer, was an American Justice of the Peace and politician in Pennsylvania. Matt Slocum
Matt Slocum (born 27 December 1972) is a guitarist, cellist, pianist and composer, known for his work as the principal songwriter and lead guitarist of Sixpence None the Richer. Biography Born in Rhode Island to Joseph and Hildegard Slocum, his family moved to New Braunfels, Texas, when he was eight months old, and opened a book store. ''Mutt'' is an album by the band Lost Dogs, released on Fools of the World and Lo-Fidelity Records in 2004. For this record, band members chose three songs from their regular bands to remake them in the style of Lost Dogs. Mike Roe brought The 77s songs "It's So Sad" (from 1983's '' Ping Pong Over the Abyss'') and "The Lust, the Flesh, the Eyes and the Pride of Life" (from 1984's ''The 77s'') and his own solo track "Sunshine Down" (from 2001's ''Say Your Prayers''). Derri Daugherty brought the Choir songs, "Like a Cloud" (from 1994's '' Speckled Bird'') and "To Cover You" (from 1987's ''Wide Eyed Wonder''), plus the modern hymn "Beautiful Scandalous Night." Neverland Studios
Neverland Studios is an American recording studio in Nashville, Tennessee owned and operated by musician and songwriter Derri Daugherty. The studio is not connected to Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. History Neverland was originally built in Los Alamitos, California, but eventually settled in Nashville, Tennessee when Daugherty relocated there in the early 1990s. Steve Hindalong
Steve Hindalong (born November 29, 1959) is an American drummer, percussionist, songwriter and producer best known for his work with the alternative rock band the Choir. Since 2006, Hindalong has also been an official member of the alternative country supergroup Lost Dogs. After becoming a prolific producer in the late 1990s, Hindalong received several Dove awards (2001 and 2003, "Special Event Album of the Year") for his work on the '' City on a Hill'' project. Hindalong also co-wrote "God of Wonders" with Marc Byrd, which was used by NASA to wake up Discovery astronaut Michael Fossum. Mike Roe
Michael Roe (born October 12, 1954) is an American, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He is a founding member of the band the 77s and the Lost Dogs and has recorded several solo albums. Career Although he has released several solo albums since the mid-1990s, Roe is primarily known as the lead singer and lead guitarist for the Christian alternative rock band the 77s. In addition to releasing albums under the moniker 7&7iS, he has recorded several instrumental albums with bandmate Mark Harmon. Roe is also a founding member of Lost Dogs.
