Islam Chesnokov
Islam Khusiyevich Chesnokov (; born 21 November 1999) is a Kazakhstani professional footballer who plays as a forward for Kazakhstan Premier League club Tobol and the Kazakhstan national team. Club career On 4 February 2023, Chesnokov joined Tobol in his home country on a permanent transfer from Belshina Bobruisk. On November 2023, Chesnokov scored the only goal in the Kazakhstan Cup final for Tobol against Ordabasy. International career Chesnokov scored his first and second international goals for Kazakhstan during a 3-1 win against San Marino on 17 November 2023 during UEFA Euro 2024 qualifying. Oskemen ( ) or Ust-Kamenogorsk ( rus, Усть-Каменогорск, p=ˌʊsʲtʲ kəmʲɪnɐˈgorsk) is the largest city in the east of Kazakhstan and the administrative center of East Kazakhstan Region of Kazakhstan. Name The city has two official names. In the Kazakh language, its name is ''Oskemen'' (Өскемен), and in the Russian language, it is known as ''Ust-Kamenogorsk'' (Усть-Каменогорск), derived from the words "mouth" (''usta''), "stone" (''kamen''), and "mining" (''gorsk''); the word ''Oskemen'' is the Kazakh-language version of the Russian name. The 2022 Belarusian Premier League was the 32nd season of top-tier football in Belarus. Shakhtyor Soligorsk defended their championship winning the fourth league title in club history. The title was subsequently stripped on May 11, 2023 following a match-fixing scandal. Astana
Astana is the capital city of Kazakhstan. With a population of 1,423,726 within the city limits, it is the second-largest in the country after Almaty, which had been the capital until 1997. The Astana Arena () is a football stadium in Astana, Kazakhstan. The stadium holds 30,000 and has a retractable roof. It serves as the national stadium for the Kazakhstan national football team.
