Isidor Busch
Isidor Bush or Busch (January 15, 1822, Prague – August 5, 1898, St. Louis, Missouri) was a man of letters, publisher, and Viticulture, viticulturalist. His maternal great-grandfather was , the first Jew raised to nobility in Austria. "Jahrbücher" At age 15, he entered Anton Edler von Schmid, Anton von Schmid's printing establishment in Vienna, which his father had acquired. The Talmud published with the imprint of Von Schmid and Bush was prized for some time afterwards for its exactness. For six years (1842–47) Bush edited and published the ''Kalender und Jahrbuch für Israeliten'' (Vienna). Its plan was the presentation in the same book of the productions of leading Jewish scholars of divergent views. Among these were Samuel Judah Löb Rapoport, S. L. Rapoport, Samuel David Luzzatto, S. D. Luzzatto, Gotthold Salomon, Ludwig Philippson, Isaac Noah Mannheimer, Theodor Creizenach, Ludwig August von Frankl, Leopold Kompert, and Leopold Löw. Some of these made their first app ...
