Branko Isaković
Branko Isaković (born June 24, 1958) is a Serbian bass player, producer and composer of Balkan ambient beat. After a long career in pop, rock, and ethno bands he launched his ''Divine Sound'' project with healing music. Biography Isaković was born in Valjevo in 1958 and moved to Belgrade in 1961. His first interest in music came about 1970 when his school friend, today well known guitar player and producer Dušan "Duda" Bezuha needed a rhythm guitarist for his rhythm and blues band. Having finished high school Isaković joined the acoustic rock band Suncokret as a replacement for Bata Sokić who went to serve the army. Isaković left the band in 1978. With former Tilt members Dejan Cukić (vocals) and Predrag Jakovljević (guitar), guitarist Nenad Stamatović and composer and keyboard player Dragan Mitrić, Isaković formed Bulevar. Aladin Isaković (born 28 July 1985) is a Bosnian professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for First League of FBiH club Čelik Zenica. Club career Early career Isaković started off his career at Žepče, where he played until 2009. After Žepče, he played for hometown club Čelik Zenica, Heimstetten, Travnik, Vitez and Frauenfeld. Mladost Doboj Kakanj On 24 December 2014, Isaković signed a contract with, at that time, First League of FBiH club Mladost Doboj Kakanj. Alija Isaković
Alija Isaković (15 January 1932 – 14 March 1997) was a Bosnian writer, essayist, publicist, playwright, and lexicographer of the Bosnian language. Isaković studied Slavic languages and literature and was a graduate of the University of Sarajevo. Isaković was also notable for his works treating Bosnian literary history; asserting the special character and identity of Bosniaks. Early life Isaković was born to a Bosniak family in Stolac in January 1932, while modern-day Bosnia and Herzegovina was a part of the Kingdom of Yugoslavia. He was raised a Muslim and, as a child, lived in Bitunja, a village located in his birth city. He attended schools in his native Stolac, as well as Zagreb, Crikvenica, Pančevo, Belgrade, and Sarajevo. Mile Isaković (; born 17 January 1958) is a Serbian handball coach and former player who competed for Yugoslavia in the 1980 Summer Olympics and in the 1984 Summer Olympics. Club career Born in Šabac, Isaković started out at his hometown club Metaloplastika. Antonije Isaković
Antonije Isaković (Serbian Cyrillic: Антоније Исаковић; 6 November 1923 – 13 January 2002) was a Serbian writer and member of the Serbian Academy of Science and Arts. He won the NIN Prize in 1982 for his novel ''Tren 2''. Sara Isaković
Sara Isaković (born 9 June 1988) is a retired Slovenian swimmer. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, aged 20, she placed 2nd in the 200 m freestyle with the time of 1:54.97, becoming the second woman ever (behind Federica Pellegrini) to break the 1 min 55 sec mark. It is still, to this day, the only swimming Olympic medal won for Slovenia. Isaković competed for Slovenia at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, and the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. Vuk Isaković
Vuk Isaković ( sr-cyr, Вук Исаковић; fl. 1696–1759) was a Serb military commander in Austrian service during the Austrian-Ottoman Wars. He was the inspiration for the main character, Vuk Isakovič (Вук Исакович), in the ''Seobe'' (novel by Miloš Crnjanski). Vuk's family originated from Sredska, Serbia, then under Ottoman rule. His brother was Trifun Isaković, also a commander. The Serbs established a Hajduk army that supported the Austrians. The army was divided into 18 companies, in four groups. In this period, the most notable obor-kapetans were Vuk Isaković from Crna Bara, Mlatišuma from Kragujevac and Kosta Dimitrijević from Paraćin. Mirjana Isaković
Mirjana Isaković is a Serbian sculptor and ceramist. Personal life She was born in Serbia in 1936. She is married to Halil Tikvesa, a Bosnian painter and graphic designer with whom she has a daughter Lana Tikvesa. Education Isaković graduated from the Academy of Applied Arts of University of Arts in Belgrade in 1963, the same year she became a member of " The Applied Artists and Designers Association of Serbia" (ULUPUDS). Career In 1971, she was elected professor at the Academy of Applied Arts. She established the important "Belgrade School". She mentored fourteen MA students who matriculated from the Academy of Applied Arts. In 1972 she became a professor at the Academy where she chaired the departmental studio for ceramics and ceramic sculpture. She retired in 2002.
