Isaiah Parente
Isaiah Parente (born March 16, 2000) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a midfielder for MLS side LA Galaxy. Career Youth career A youth product of Team Challenger FC, Parente was also part of the Columbus Crew academy between 2015 and 2018, making a total of 68 appearances and scoring 15 goals. College & Amateur In 2018, Parente went to play college soccer at Wake Forest University, choosing Wake Forest over Duke, Clemson, Akron, Ohio State and Pitt. During his time with the Demon Deacons, Parente made 50 appearances, scoring 3 goals and tallying 19 assists. During 2019, Parente also appeared for USL League Two side Flint City Bucks, who went on to win the league championship. Medina, Ohio
Medina ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Medina County, Ohio, United States. The population was 26,094 at the 2020 Census. It lies about 33 miles (53 km) south of Cleveland and 23 miles (37 km) west of Akron within the Cleveland metropolitan area. USL League Two (USL2), formerly the Premier Development League (PDL), is a semi-professional developmental soccer league sponsored by United Soccer Leagues in the United States and Canada, forming part of the United States soccer league system. The 2022 MLS Next Pro season is the inaugural season of MLS Next Pro, the reserve league of Major League Soccer. It is the first season since 2014 where MLS had a standalone reserve league, the previous season being the MLS Reserve League. Including both MLS Next Pro and the MLS Reserve League, it is the ninth season of a reserve league operated by MLS. The league is sanctioned as a third division league by U.S. Soccer. The Campeones Cup is an annual North American association football match contested between the winners of the previous MLS Cup from Major League Soccer and the winners of the Campeón de Campeones from Liga MX. The competition was established by the two leagues in 2018. Format The Campeones Cup is contested by the winner of the MLS Cup, held annually in November or December, to decide the winner of the Major League Soccer season, and the Campeón de Campeones, held annually in July between the winners of the Apertura and Clausura tournaments in Liga MX.
