Isaiah Miles
Isaiah Miles (born June 9, 1994) is an American professional basketball player for AEK Athens of the Greek Basket League and the Basketball Champions League. He played college basketball at Saint Joseph's University. Early life and high school Miles was born in Baltimore, Maryland and grew up in the suburb of Owings Mills. He attended Glenelg Country School for three years before transferring to Milford Mill Academy before his senior year. He was a standout basketball player at both schools and was an All-Metro selection by ''The Baltimore Sun'' in his junior and senior seasons. College career Miles played four seasons for the St. Joseph's Hawks, starting out as a reserve player and gradually gaining more playing time until he was a starter his final two seasons. In his first season as a starter, he averaged 10.7 points and 5.1 rebounds. Uşak Sportif, also known as Uşak Üniversitesi Belediyespor, was a professional basketball team that is based in the city of Uşak, in Turkey. The team was founded in 2006. Their home arena was the Uşak Üniversitesi Sport Hall, which has a seating capacity of 2,000. Hapoel Holon Basketball Club ( he, מועדון הכדורסל הפועל חולון), known for sponsorship reasons as Hapoel Atsmon Playgrounds Holon (), is a professional basketball club based in Holon, Israel. The team plays in the Israeli Basketball Premier League (the top tier of Israeli basketball), and internationally in the Basketball Champions League. 2015–16 Saint Joseph's Hawks Men's Basketball Team
The 2015–16 Saint Joseph's Hawks basketball team represented Saint Joseph's University during the 2015–16 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Hawks, led by 21st year head coach Phil Martelli, played their home games at Hagan Arena and are members of the Atlantic 10 Conference. The Hawks finished the season 28–8, 13–5 in A-10 play to finish in fourth place. They defeated George Washington, Dayton, and VCU to be champions of the A-10 tournament and earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. As a #8 seed, they defeated Cincinnati in the first round, their first NCAA Tournament victory since 2004, to advance to the second round where they lost to Oregon. 2015–16 Atlantic 10 Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2015–16 Atlantic 10 Conference men's basketball season was the 40th season of Atlantic 10 Conference basketball. The 2016 Atlantic 10 men's basketball tournament was held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dayton, VCU, and St. Bonaventure tied for the regular season championship. Saint Joseph's won the A-10 Tournament. As a result of winning the A-10 Tournament, Saint Joseph's earned the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. Atlantic 10 Conference
The Atlantic 10 Conference (A-10) is a collegiate athletic conference whose schools compete in the National Collegiate Athletic Association's (NCAA) Division I. The A-10's member schools are located in states mostly on the United States Eastern Seaboard, as well as some in the Midwest: Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Ohio, Illinois, and Missouri as well as in the District of Columbia. Although some of its members are state-funded, half of its membership is made up of private, Catholic institutions. Besides 6 teams from Bulgaria, Montenegro and North Macedonia, 12 teams from Israel joined the competition, after temporary suspension of 2020-2021 Israeli Basketball League due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
