Isaiah McGuire
Isaiah McGuire (born July 27, 2001) is an American football defensive end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Missouri. Early years McGuire attended Union High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He committed to the University of Missouri to play college football. College career As a true freshman at Missouri in 2019, McGuire played in six games and had four tackles. In five games in 2020, he had 18 tackles and three sacks. He started all 13 games his junior year in 2021, recording 55 tackles and six sacks. McGuire returned to Missouri his final year of eligibility in 2022.The senior appeared in 12 games, recording 39 tackles, 13 tackles for a loss, and 7.5 sacks. Defensive End
Defensive end (DE) is a defensive position in the sport of gridiron football. This position has designated the players at each end of the defensive line, but changes in formations over the years have substantially changed how the position is played. History Early formations, with six- and seven-man lines, used the end as a containment player, whose job was first to prevent an " end run" around his position, then secondarily to force plays inside. When most teams adopted a five-man line, two different styles of end play developed: "crashing" ends, who rushed into the backfield to disrupt plays, and "stand-up" or "waiting" ends, who played the more traditional containment style.
