Isabelle Smith
Isabelle Smith is an English actress. She made her acting debut in a stage production of ''Gypsy'', before going on to make minor appearances in British television series including ''Coronation Street'' and ''Maternal''. Then, in 2024, she appeared in the BBC soap opera ''Doctors'', as well as being cast in the regular role of Frankie Osborne on the Channel 4 soap opera ''Hollyoaks''. For her role as Frankie, she has received nominations for various accolades, as well as winning Best Newcomer at the ''Inside Soap'' Awards. Early and personal life Smith attended Fairfield High School for Girls in Droylsden, before going on to attend Ashton Sixth Form College from 2018 to 2020. At the latter, she studied drama, photography and history for her A-levels. Then, from 2020 to 2023, she studied at the Arden School of Theatre, where she attained a BA degree. ''Hollyoaks'' is a British soap opera which originally began airing on Channel 4 on 23 October 1995. 2025 British Soap Awards
The 2025 British Soap Awards honoured the best in British soap operas throughout 2024 and 2025. The ceremony was held on 31 May 2025 at the Hackney Empire theatre in Hackney, London, and will be broadcast on ITV1, ITVX and STV on 5 June 2025. After ITV cancelled the 2024 ceremony for undisclosed reasons, this marked the return of the awards after two years. Jane McDonald returned as presenter, having previously replaced disgraced former presenter Phillip Schofield in 2023. The British Soap Award for Best Leading Performer is an award presented annually by The British Soap Awards. The award was introduced to the ceremony in 2022, succeeding the categories for British Soap Award for Best Actress, Best Actress and British Soap Award for Best Actor, Best Actor as a gender neutral replacement.
