Isaah Yeo
Isaah Ferguson-Yeo (born 6 November 1994) is an Australian professional rugby league footballer who plays as a and forward for the Penrith Panthers in the NRL and Australia at international level. At representative level he has played for New South Wales Country and New South Wales in the State of Origin series. He is a dual NRL Premiership-winning Captain of 2021 and 2022. As of 2021, he is also the co-captain alongside his teammate Nathan Cleary. Yeo played in the early part of his career before settling into the forwards full-time. Early life Yeo was born in Dubbo, New South Wales, Australia. He is the son of former North Sydney Bears and Balmain Tigers player Justin Yeo. The 2016 NRL season was the 109th season of professional rugby league in Australia and the 19th season run by the National Rugby League. The season started in New Zealand with the annual Auckland Nines, and was followed by the All Stars Match, which was played at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, and the World Club Series. A try is a way of scoring points in rugby union and rugby league football. A try is scored by grounding the ball in the opposition's in-goal area (on or behind the goal line). Rugby union and league differ slightly in defining "grounding the ball" and the "in-goal" area. In rugby union a try is worth 5 points, in rugby league a try is worth 4 points. The term "try" comes from "try at goal", signifying that grounding the ball originally only gave the attacking team the opportunity to try to score with a kick at goal.
