"Is It True?" is a song by Icelandic singer Yohanna, the entry in the Eurovision Song Contest 2009 in Moscow, Russia. The song was composed by Óskar Páll Sveinsson and won second place in the contest. The song was also recorded in Spanish ("Si te vas"), German ("War es nur"), Russian ("" / "Ya ne splyu") and French ("Si tu sais"). Is It True (May 12, 1986 – February 22, 2007) was an American Thoroughbred racehorse. He is best known for his win in the 1988 Breeders' Cup Juvenile. Background Bred by Warner L. Jones at his Hermitage Farm near Goshen, Kentucky, he was purchased by Eugene Klein who handed him over to trainer D. Wayne Lukas for race conditioning. Racing career At age two, Is It True made six starts, compiling a 2-2-1 record. He lost three times to future U.S. Racing Hall of Fame inductee Easy Goer, having finished fourth in the Grade I Cowdin Stakes, second in the Grade I Champagne Stakes, and second in a maiden race. However, in their most important meeting of 1988, run on a muddy track at Churchill Downs, Is It True defeated Easy Goer in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile by a little over a length, though Easy Goer won the Eclipse Award for American Champion Two Year Old Male. "Is It True" is a song released in 1964 by Brenda Lee. In 1964, Brenda Lee was flown by Decca to England to cut a single record, initially conceived for release exclusively in the United Kingdom, but it was in fact also released in the US shortly after release in the UK. "Is It True" was written by John Carter and Ken Lewis, then two of England's top songwriters. Barrett Strong (born February 5, 1941) is an American singer and songwriter. Strong was the first artist to record a hit for Motown, although he is best known for his work as a songwriter, particularly in association with producer Norman Whitfield. Among his most famous work at Motown, Strong wrote the lyrics for many of the songs recorded by the Temptations. He was born in West Point, Mississippi. Career Strong was among the first artists signed to Berry Gordy's fledgling label, Tamla Records, and was the performer on the company's first hit, " Money (That's What I Want)", which reached No. 2 US R&B in 1960. Apart from two songs produced by Glyn Johns, it was produced by Bill Szymczyk because the group wanted a more rock‑oriented sound instead of the country-rock feel of the first two albums. ''Continental'' is an album by the British band Saint Etienne which had original release only in Japan. It is a compilation that includes previously released material such as the UK hit "He's on the Phone" as well as curios like their cover of the Paul Gardiner/Gary Numan song "Stormtrooper in Drag". Many of the tracks were recorded during the 'wilderness' years of 1996–97 when the band members worked on their separate projects. The remix versions on this album had all appeared on Casino Classics. As part of the 2009 Saint Etienne back catalogue reissue program, the album has had a UK release for the first time. ''The Slow Rush'' is the fourth studio album by Australian musical project Tame Impala, released on 14 February 2020. It follows the 2015 album ''Currents'' and the 2019 singles "Patience" and " Borderline", with the latter serving as the first single from the album.
