''Iron Man: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack'' is the soundtrack album to the 2008 film ''Iron Man'', featuring music composed by Ramin Djawadi. The soundtrack was produced in collaboration with Hans Zimmer and Remote Control Productions, and was released on April 29, 2008, by Lionsgate Records. Djawadi joined the film after John Debney, who previously collaborated with director Jon Favreau, was unavailable. The score focuses heavily on electric guitar, as requested by Favreau, and was recorded with a rock band as well a traditional orchestra. The soundtrack also includes the classic 1966 Iron Man theme song, and a big band-style arrangement of it by John O'Brien and Rick Boston, who also frequently collaborate with Favreau. Rage Against the Machine (often abbreviated as RATM or shortened to Rage) was an American Rock music, rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1991. It consisted of vocalist Zack de la Rocha, bassist and backing vocalist Tim Commerford, guitarist Tom Morello, and drummer Brad Wilk. Jacques "Jack" Urbont is a composer. Urbont is best known for composing the theme songs for ''The Marvel Super Heroes'' cartoon series. Career Urbont composed the music for the off-Broadway shows ''Livin' the Life'', ''All in Love'', and ''Stag Movie''. ''Livin' the Life'' premiered in 1957 and starred Francis Barnard and Alice Ghostley. ''All in Love'' premiered in 1961 and starred David Atkinson and Gaylea Byrne. "Institutionalized" is the debut and only single released in 1983 from the eponymic debut album by American hardcore punk/crossover thrash band Suicidal Tendencies. It is one of the band's most popular songs and has remained a live staple since it was first played in 1982. The song was re-recorded for the band's 1993 album '' Still Cyco After All These Years''; this version was nominated for the Grammy for Best Metal Performance in 1994, but lost to Ozzy Osbourne's live version of "I Don't Want to Change the World". The original version of the song was featured on the long-out of print compilation album '' F.N.G.'', while the ''Still Cyco After All These Years'' version appears on '' Prime Cuts'' and '' Playlist: The Very Best of Suicidal Tendencies'', which was not endorsed by the band.
