Iron Lynx
Iron Lynx Motorsport Lab is an Italian auto racing team founded by Andrea Piccini, Deborah Mayer, Claudio Schiavoni and Sergio Pianezzola. The team is based in Cesena, Emilia-Romagna. They primarily participate in sports car racing, and are a sister team of both Iron Dames and Prema Racing under the ''DC Racing Solutions'' parent company. Iron Lynx were formerly partnered with Lamborghini in operating their Lamborghini SC63 LMDh prototype. History 2017 In 2017, the Iron Lynx Motorsport Lab was created by Deborah Mayer, Claudio Schiavoni, Sergio Pianezzola, and Andrea Piccini. 2018 In their first year competing, Iron Lynx placed second and ninth in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe Pro-Am, with one pole position, twelve podiums, and two victories. Andrea Piccini
Andrea Piccini (born 12 December 1978 in Sansepolcro) is an Italian racing driver who is the part-owner and team principal of the Iron Lynx Motorsport Lab ELMS and Italian F4 team. Single Seaters Piccini began his single seater career in 1994, when he began competing in go-kart races. In 1997, he started competing in Formula Opel Europe. He finished third in the 1998 standings. He went on to race in International Formula 3000 in 1999 up until 2001, picking up only six points in the three seasons. In 2001, he was signed as a test driver for the European Minardi Formula One. Matteo Cairoli
Matteo Cairoli (born 1 June 1996) is an Italian racing driver who currently competes in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Iron Lynx, having previously competed in the IMSA SportsCar Championship as a Lamborghini factory driver. He was the 2014 Porsche Carrera Cup Italia champion. Career Junior formula Cairoli began his single-seater racing career in 2012, competing in the Italian Formula Renault Championship. He would finish the season 13th in points after competing in the final four races, scoring one podium. After a 2013 season in which he competed in the German Formula Three Championship, Cairoli joined GSK Grand Prix for the 2014 Formula Renault 2.0 Alps Series season. 2020 Michelin Le Mans Cup
The 2020 Le Mans Cup, known as the 2020 Michelin Le Mans Cup under sponsorship, was the fifth season of the Le Mans Cup. It began on 18 July at the Circuit Paul Ricard and finished on 1 November at Algarve International Circuit. The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes in the LMP3 class, and grand tourer sports cars in the GT3 class. The 2020 calendar was released on 4 April 2020. This season ran with a newly updated 2020 ACO LMP3 specification, including an uplift of ~35bhp in power and to 5.6 litres from 5.0 litres. An issue with fuel consumption came to light after Free Practice sessions; the spec Nissan VK56 / X-Trac drivetrain, homologated and supplied through Oreca, used more fuel than was predicted. The 2024 European Le Mans Series was the twenty-first season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season began at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 14 April and concluded at Algarve International Circuit on 19 October. The series was open to Le Mans Prototypes, divided into the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, and grand tourer-style racing cars in the new LMGT3 class. Fabian Schiller (born 24 May 1997) is a German racing driver who currently competes in the Nürburgring Endurance Series. Career Junior formula Schiller began his racing career in karting at the age of 12, competing in the ADAC Kart Masters series. In 2012, he began competing in single-seater formula cars, taking part in the Formula BMW Talent Cup. The following season, Schiller stepped up to compete in the ADAC Formel Masters championship, competing for the Schiller Motorsport team run by his father and uncle. He would finish 11th in his first season in the competition, scoring his first victory at the Lausitzring. After two years of competition and three race victories in the series, Schiller graduated to the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, signing with Team West-Tec for the 2015 season. Lorcan Hanafin (born 6 December 2002) is a British racing driver who is currently competing in the 2025 European Le Mans Series for Iron Lynx in the LMGT3 class, he is the runner up of the 2021 Porsche Carrera Cup Great Britain. Hanafin was also a member of the Aston Martin Racing Driver Academy. Career Karting Hanafin's father did competitive rallying in Ireland and in the United Kingdom, as he brought Hanafin a go-kart on his fifth birthday. He would only do competitive karting in the United Kingdom, making his debut in 2011 where he contested the 2011 Trent Valley Kart Club in the WTP Cadet and finished the championship in 13th. Jonas Ried (born 18 December 2004) is a German racing driver currently competing in the European Le Mans Series for Proton Competition. He is the son of FIA World Endurance Championship driver and Proton Competition team owner Christian Ried. Early career Karting Having finished second in the Bavarian-based Kart Trophy Weiß-Blau in 2014, Ried began karting at a national level the following year, taking part in the ADAC Kart Masters in the Bambini class. Luca Stolz (born 29 July 1995) is a German racing driver who currently competes in the ADAC GT Masters and GT World Challenge Europe. Career Stolz began his racing career in 2007, competing in the Cadet class of the Belgian Karting Championship. He raced in karts until 2010, before moving into single-seaters in 2011.
