Irizar Century
The Irizar Century is a coach body manufactured by Irizar on Iveco, MAN, Mercedes-Benz, Scania and Volvo chassis. It has many different bodystyles and are usually identified via the OBRA number on information plate next to the door. The Century model has been replaced by the Irizar i6 but given the continued popularity of the model, Irizar has continued production of the Century for several years. Irizar
Irizar Group is a Spain, Spanish-based manufacturer of luxury buses and coach (vehicle), coaches. Established in 1889, the company is located in Ormaiztegi in the Basque Country (autonomous community), Basque Country, Spain. The Scania K series is a series of chassis in Scania's city bus and coach range with longitudinally, straight-up mounted engine at the rear, replacing the K- ( K94, K114, K124) and L-type ( L94) chassis of the 4 series. Volvo B13R
Volvo B13R is a 12.8-litre engined coach chassis available as both two- and tri-axle from Volvo since 2009. It was the first of the Volvo BXXR series, replacing the higher output configurations of the B12B. It was later joined by the B11R, which has the same base chassis but a smaller engine. Volvo B12
The Volvo B12, also known as the Volvo B12R, was a rear-engined heavy-duty coach chassis manufactured by Volvo in Sweden between 1991 and 2001, and in Brazil between 1997 and 2011. History The B12 was Volvo's first large coach chassis with a vertically mounted engine, which limited the available body models that would fit. It was first fitted with the 12.0-litre TD122/TD123, which in 1995 was replaced by the 12.1-litre D12A. Because of the engine height it was probably less popular than the lower B10B, but it was Volvo's only rear-engined coach chassis that was offered as a tri-axle. The only other option for a tri-axle coach was the mid-engined B10M, and not all customers wanted to have the engine "where the luggage was supposed to be". Volvo B11R
The Volvo B11R is a 10.8-litre engined coach chassis available as both two- and tri-axle from Volvo since 2011. It was introduced as the second of the Volvo BXXR series, replacing the rest of the B12B range in 2011, and later its fellow BXXR platform model, the B13R in 2013. The B11R is the standard chassis for both the 9700 and 9900 coaches, except the North American 9700 which still use the B13R. It is also available in the Indian market and is sold by Volvo under the 9400 brand with a length of 14.5 metres and has bodywork similar in design to pre-2018 European Volvo 9700/9900. A version for double-decker coaches, known as B11RLE, is also produced. The Volvo B7R is a rear-engined lightweight coach chassis available with a range of bodies. Marketed mainly for tourist and long-distance duties, the B7R is also manufactured in China, Brazil, Hungary, India and Iran for use in regional transport services.
