Irish Air Navigation Service
The Irish Air Navigation Service, trading as AirNav Ireland or AirNav na hÉireann, is the Air_navigation_service_provider, Air Navigation Service Provider of Ireland from 30 April 2023. It is a State-sponsored bodies of the Republic of Ireland, commercial company owned by the State, and has responsibility for the provision of air traffic management, aeronautical communications and related services in Irish controlled airspace. Its head office is in The Times Building, D'Olier St., in Dublin. AirNav Ireland is responsible for providing air traffic control services to Ireland's three main airports, namely Dublin, Shannon and Cork, en-route air traffic control services over Irish airspace and aeronautical communications services in Irish controlled airspace. An air navigation service provider (ANSP) is a public or a private legal entity providing Air Navigation Services. It manages air traffic on behalf of a company, region or country. Depending on the specific mandate, an ANSP provides one or more of the following services to airspace users: * Air traffic management (ATM) * Communications, navigation and surveillance, Communication navigation and surveillance systems (CNS) * Meteorology, Meteorological service for air navigation (MET) * Search and rescue (SAR) * Aeronautical Information Service, Aeronautical information services/aeronautical information management (AIS/AIM).
