Okitipupa
Okitipupa is in Nigeria and part of the Yoruba tribe, Ikale-speaking nation in Ondo State. Okitipupa Government headquarter is located in Okitipupa Major town with a university, Ondo State University of Science and Technology, Olusegun Agagu University of Science and Technology (OAUSTECH) which commenced academic sessions in 2010–11. Western Apoi Tribe
The Western Apoi tribe live in Ondo State, Nigeria. The Western Apoi tribe are also called Apoi or Ijo-Apoi. They consists of nine settlements namely Igbekebo, Igbotu, Igbobini, Inikorogha, Ipoke, Kiribo, Oboro, Ojuala and Shabomi. The Apois inhabit higher ground than most of the other Ijaw tribes. They speak a dialect of the Yoruba language called ''Apoi'' which is similar to the Ikale and Ilaje dialect. The Apois underwent a linguistic shift centuries ago from an Ijo based dialect to Yoruba due to intermarriages and isolation from the larger delta region. Ilaje
Ìlàje is a Local Government Area in Ondo State, South-West Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Igbokoda. The Ilajes are a distinct migratory coastal linguistic group of Yoruba peoples spread along the coastal belts of Ondo, Ogun, Lagos and Delta states and originally made up of four geo-political entities, namely: Ode Ugbo, Ode Mahin, Ode Etikan and Aheri. Ondo Kingdom
The Ondo Kingdom is a traditional state that traces its origins back for over 500 years, with its capital in Ode Ondo. Ondo Kingdom was established by Princess Pupupu, one of the twins of Alafin Oluaso. Her mother was Queen Olu who later died at Ile oluji. There were wars in the town between 1865 and 1885 when people in the kingdom fled to Oke Opa. Three Osemawes were installed and died there.
