Budești
Budești ( Romani: ''Budeshti'') is a small provincial town in Călărași County, Muntenia, Romania. Three villages are administered by the town: Aprozi, Buciumeni, and Gruiu. It officially became a town in 1989, as a result of the Romanian rural systematization program. Geography The town lies in the southwestern corner of the Bărăgan Plain, where the river Dâmbovița flows into the Argeș. Budești is located in the western part of Călărași County, on the border with Giurgiu County. It lies at a distance of south-east of Bucharest, the capital of the country, and west of Călărași, the county seat. Amza Pellea
Amza Pellea (; 7 April 1931 – 12 December 1983) was a Romanian actor noted for playing Romanian national heroes on film. He was born in Băilești, Oltenia, and attended the Carol I High School in Craiova. He later played at the Craiova Theatre, then at the Small Theatre, the Nottara Theatre, the Comedy Theatre, and the National Theatre in Bucharest, and also was a professor at the Academy of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Pellea played numerous comic and serious roles. In cinema he was most noted for his roles portraying historical leaders. His earliest leading roles were as Romanian national heroes, beginning with Decebalus in '' Dacii'' (1967) and '' Columna'' (1968). He also portrayed Michael the Brave in ''Mihai Viteazul'' (1971). Radu Simion (27 February 1940 Ștefan cel Mare, Argeș – 16 February 2015, Bucharest) was a virtuoso pan flute player and a Romanian leader of the orchestra. Early life Simion was born on 27 February 1940 in Ștefan cel Mare, Argeș. Study Having a passion for music since it was little, he studied first the accordion by himself. When he was 11 gave an exam at "Music Middle School" and got a ten. He started studying the dulcimer with Gheorghe Pantazi. He travelled in China with a tournament and Radu Simion risked a second year.
