Ion Ion (footballer)
Ion Ion (born 21 June 1954) is a Romanian football manager and former player. In his coaching career he has coached several clubs from Oman, Bahrain, UAE and Qatar. He managed Steaua București for the 2017–18 season, but his contract was not renewed after the club failed to gain promotion to Liga III. Club Sportiv Tunari, commonly known as CS Tunari, or simply as Tunari, is a Romanian football club based in Tunari, Ilfov County, currently competes in Liga II, the second tier of the Romanian football. The Liga 2, most commonly spelled as Liga II, is the second level of the Romanian football league system. The league changed its name from Divizia B just before the start of the 2006–07 Liga II, 2006–07 football season. It is currently Sponsor (commercial), sponsored by Casa Pariurilor, a betting company under the official name Liga 2 Casa Pariurilor. 1975–76 Cupa României
The 1975–76 Cupa României was the 38th edition of Romania's most prestigious football cup competition. The title was won by Steaua București against CSU Galaţi. Format The competition is an annual knockout tournament. First round proper matches are played on the ground of the lowest ranked team, then from the second round proper the matches are played on a neutral location. If a match is drawn after 90 minutes, the game goes in extra time, and if the scored is still tight after 120 minutes, then the winner will be established at penalty kicks. Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table.
