Ion-Georgy Kostev (born March 24, 1990) is a Russian professional ice hockey Defenseman (ice hockey), defenceman who is currently an unrestricted free agent. HC Neftekhimik Nizhnekamsk () is a professional ice hockey club based in Nizhnekamsk, Russia. It is a member of the Kharlamov Division in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL). History Neftekhimik was founded October 23, 1968 by workers of the Nizhnekamskneftekhim, Nizhnekamsk Petrochemical plant to represent Nizhnekamsk in the Tatar Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic, Tatar ASSR ice hockey championship. After winning championship titles in regional competitions, the team was promoted to the national level. It reached the top division of Russian hockey in 1995. It was launched into an elliptical low Earth orbit by the Soviet Union on 4 October 1957 as part of the Soviet space program.
