Into The Mirror Live
''Into The Mirror Live / Black Reflections'' is a live promotional EP of the band Sanctuary recorded on May 12, 1990 at The Country Club in Reseda, California, during their ''Into the Mirror Black'' tour. Approximately 1000 CD copies of this were made and less than 500 were ever distributed to radio stations and record stores. Because of contractual problems with Epic Records, the full version was never released for public consumption. Epic Records destroyed 500+ copies of this CD. Warrel Dane stated on several occasions that he owned the master tapes and copyrights of the full show, intending to have it finally released. Although the full show never emerged during Dane's lifetime, in 2020 it was finally announced that the show would be included, with a new mix, as a second CD on the 30th anniversary reissue of ''Into the Mirror Black''. Sanctuary (band)
Sanctuary is an American thrash/power metal band, formed in 1985 in Seattle, Washington. They were broken up from 1992 to 2010. The band consists of Lenny Rutledge (guitar), Joseph Michael (vocals), George Hernandez (bass), and Dave Budbill (drums). The lead vocalist position was held by Warrel Dane until his death in 2017. They have released four studio albums and one live EP. Warrel Dane
Warrel Dane (born Warrel George Baker; March 7, 1961 – December 13, 2017) was an American musician who was the lead singer for the heavy metal bands Sanctuary and Nevermore. He was a natural baritone; though he was known for his high-pitched vocals with Serpent's Knight and on the first two Sanctuary albums, later in his career, Dane became more notable for his distinctively deep, dramatic voice. Career Dane was trained for five years as an opera singer and utilized a very broad vocal range, spanning from notes as low as the G below low C, or G1, to notes as high as the B below soprano C, or B5. While his high head voice style vocals were much more prominent in the older Sanctuary albums, there were instances where he utilized it in Nevermore as well. Reseda Country Club
Reseda Country Club was a nightclub and multi-purpose venue located on Sherman Way in Reseda, California. The building started off as a Sav-On drug store in the 1950s and later became a music venue in 1980 when Chuck Landis purchased the site. It originally featured country music acts, hence its name. The club was managed by concert promoter Jim Rissmiller from 1981 to 1984. Rissmiller was able to book premier shows of all types, including acts such as B.B. Howard Benson is an American music producer and multi-instrumentalist. He was nominated for the Producer of the Year Grammy Award in 2007 and 2008. Early life and education Benson was born and raised in a middle-class family in greater Philadelphia, the son of Estelle and Robert Benson. He is of Jewish descent.
