Into The Labyrinth (TV Series)
''Into the Labyrinth'' is a British children's television series. It was produced by HTV for the ITV network between 1980 and 1982, with the first series being broadcast in May 1981. Three seasons, each consisting of seven 25-minute episodes, were produced by Peter Graham Scott, who also directed all but two episodes, both in the final season. The series was created by Scott along with Bob Baker, who had previously written several stories for ''Doctor Who''. The first series only was later shown in the United States as part of " The Third Eye" science fiction series on Nickelodeon. It was also broadcast on ABC TV in Australia, TVE in Spain, RTÉ One and RTÉ Two as part of ''The Den'' in Ireland, ETB 1 and ETB 2 in Basque Country, Arutz HaYeladim in Israel, TV2 in Malaysia and both RTV and ATV in Hong Kong. Fantasy (genre)
Fantasy is a genre of speculative fiction that involves supernatural or Magic (supernatural), magical elements, often including Fictional universe, imaginary places and Legendary creature, creatures. ''The Third Eye'' is an American anthology series on Nickelodeon. It consisted of several English-language science fiction serials from the United Kingdom and New Zealand. All of the program's featurettes focused on characters with psychic abilities. History ''The Third Eye'' premiered on Nickelodeon on January 8, 1983. It usually begins with a disclaimer that said, "The following is a science fiction program, and may contain some startling scenes. This show is intended for older children." The Children's Channel, also known as TCC, was a British-based pan-European children's television channel in Europe, Asia and Africa, which was owned by Flextech in London, England, UK. It began broadcasting on the original Eutelsat satellite on 1 September 1984. History Early years The Children's Channel was launched on the original Eutelsat satellite on 1 September 1984, almost exclusively to cable households owing to the low proliferation of domestic satellite dishes in Europe, the Middle East and Africa at that time.
