Into Oblivion (album)
Rise and Fall was a Belgian hardcore punk band from Ghent, formed 2002 by members of The Deal and Kingpin. They were among a few European bands currently signed to American hardcore label Deathwish Inc. Rise and Fall have been influenced by bands such as Black Flag, Converge, Neurosis, Tragedy and Entombed. History Early career and ''Hellmouth'' (2002–2004) Rise and Fall was formed in 2002 in Ghent, Belgium, as a side project of members of The Deal and Kingpin, eventually becoming the most important band for all four members as The Deal and Kingpin was disbanded. Following some lineup changes, the band released their first album ''Hellmouth'', in April 2004. Jacob Bannon (born October 15, 1976) is an American musician who is the vocalist, lyricist and graphic artist for the metalcore band Converge (band), Converge. He is the co-founder and owner of the record label Deathwish Inc. and the author of many visual works for independent punk rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal musicians. Bannon has also composed and performed experimental music as Supermachiner with Ryan Parker and more recently as Wear Your Wounds. Early life Bannon was born in 1976. Hellfest (), also known as Hellfest Summer Open Air, is a rock festival focusing on heavy metal music, held annually in June in Clisson, France. Its high attendance makes it the French music festival with the largest turnover. It is also one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe and the biggest to exist in France. It originated in another music festival, the Fury Fest, held from 2002 to 2005, in different areas of Pays de la Loire.
