''The Intimidators'' is an Image Comics mini-series written by Neil Kleid and illustrated by Miguel Montenegro. The series was created and co-plotted by Jim Valentino. Overview The series is about the Intimidators and Astroman. Limited Series (comics)
In the field of comic books, and particularly in the United States, a limited series is a comics series with a predetermined number of issues. A limited series differs from an ongoing series in that the number of issues is finite and determined before production, and it differs from a one shot in that it is composed of multiple issues. The term is often used interchangeably with miniseries (mini-series) and maxiseries (maxi-series), usually depending on the length and number of issues. In Dark Horse Comics' definition of a limited series, "this term primarily applies to a connected series of individual comic books. A limited series refers to a comic book series with a clear beginning, middle and end". Neil Kleid
Neil Kleid (born 1975) is an American cartoonist who received a 2003 Xeric Award grant for his graphic novella ''Ninety Candles'' (2004). Raised in Oak Park, Michigan, he lives in New Jersey Kleid wrote '' Brownsville'', a graphic novel about Murder, Inc., with Jake Allen; '' The Big Kahn'', a graphic novel about family, faith, and con men, with Nicolas Cinquegrani, for NBM Publishing; and ''Ursa Minors!'', an action/comedy mini-series for Slave Labor Graphics. Jim Valentino (born October 28, 1952) is an American writer, penciler, editor and publisher of comic books, best known for his 1990–1992 work on '' Guardians of the Galaxy'' for Marvel Comics, and for co-founding Image Comics, a company publishing creator-owned comics. At Image Comics, Valentino produced books such as the superhero vigilante series '' ShadowHawk'', and the 1997 semi-autobiographical black and white book '' A Touch of Silver''.
