Interzone (film)
''Interzone'' is a 1987 Italian sci-fi action film produced by Trans World Entertainment and directed by Deran Sarafian, with original music composed by Stefano Mainetti, starring Bruce Abbott, Beatrice Ring, and Teagan Clive. Plot A supernaturally gifted monk, "Panasonic" (Kiro Wehara), is sent on a mission by his dying master, "General Electric," to protect the Interzone, the last fertile region left on a post-apocalyptic Earth, against an invading gang of wasteland raiders. Along the way, Panasonic is helped by Swan (Bruce Abbott), a roguish road warrior who seeks a rumored treasure hidden within the Interzone, and Tera (Beatrice Ring), an attractive slave girl, whom Swan falls in love with. The raiders meanwhile are led by Mantis (Teagan Clive), a female bodybuilder dominatrix and her sadistic partner Balzakan (John Armstead). Deran Sarafian
Deran Sarafian is an American film and television director and actor. He directed '' Death Warrant, Gunmen,'' and ''Terminal Velocity''. He has been nominated for two Primetime Emmy Awards. Life and career Sarafian is the son of film director Richard C. Sarafian, and the nephew of director, screenwriter and producer Robert Altman. He is the brother of Ani Sarafian, Tedi Sarafian, Richard Sarafian, Jr. and Damon B. Sarafian. He has two children with ex-wife, actress Laurie Fortier. In 1983 Sarafian said he had spent the previous five years "ghost directing", i.e. taking over films where the original director was unable to complete filming. Laurette Marcia Gemser (born 5 October 1950) is an Indonesian-Dutch retired actress, model and costume designer. Bracciano
Bracciano is a small town in the Italian region of Lazio, northwest of Rome. The town is famous for its volcanic lake ( Lago di Bracciano or "Sabatino", the eighth largest lake in Italy) and for a particularly well-preserved medieval castle Castello Orsini-Odescalchi. The lake is widely used for sailing and is popular with tourists; the castle has hosted a number of events, especially weddings of actors and singers.
