Interview (2003 Film)
''Interview'' is a 2003 Netherlands, Dutch drama film, directed by Theo van Gogh (film director), Theo van Gogh, starring Katja Schuurman and Pierre Bokma. The film is about a war correspondent having an interview with a soap opera actress. Katja Schuurman was nominated for a Golden Calf (award), Golden Calf for Best Actress at the 2003 Netherlands Film Festival. Steve Buscemi's remake Interview (2007 film), of the same name premiered in 2007. Laurence Postma's Hindi remake ''Interview (2021 film), The Interview: Night of 26/11'' was released in August 2021. Plot War correspondent Pierre Peters (Pierre Bokma) is sent by the newspaper he works for to interview soap opera actress Katja (Katja Schuurman). Theo Van Gogh (film Director)
Theodoor "Theo" van Gogh (; 23 July 1957 – 2 November 2004) was a Dutch film director. He directed ''Submission (2004 film), Submission: Part 1'', a short film written by Somalia, Somali writer and politician Ayaan Hirsi Ali, which criticised the treatment of women in Islam in strong terms. On 2 November 2004, he was murdered by Mohammed Bouyeri, a Moroccans in the Netherlands, Dutch-Moroccan Islamism, Islamist who objected to the film's message. The last film Van Gogh had completed before his murder, ''06/05'', was a fictional exploration of Assassination of Pim Fortuyn, the assassination of Dutch politician Pim Fortuyn. Ellen Ten Damme
Ellen ten Damme (born 7 October 1967) is a Dutch actress, singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Ten Damme both sings and acts in four languages (Dutch, English, French and German), and plays piano and keyboards, guitar and violin. During her school years Ellen was an enthusiastic gymnast, and incorporating some gymnastic tricks or even circus acts into her shows has become a trademark. Ten Damme grew up in the rural village of Roden, close to the university town Groningen, where she studied Dutch for a while. Theodorus Wilhelmus (Theo) Maassen (born 8 December 1966 in Oegstgeest, South Holland) is a Dutch comedian and actor who grew up in the village of Zijtaart (municipality of Veghel) in the Dutch province of North Brabant. He currently lives in Eindhoven. In addition to his shows, he has also made a number of appearances in films. Career Maassen won two of the biggest comedy contests in the Netherlands in 1990, the Groninger Studenten Cabaret Festival (GSCF), and Cameretten.
