International 9000
The International 9000 Series is a range of trucks that was manufactured by Navistar International (previously International Harvester) from 1971 to 2017. A Truck#Cab, conventional-cab truck, the model range was configured primarily for highway applications. In terms of size, the model range was slotted between the medium-duty International Loadstar, Loadstar (and the International S series, S-Series that replaced it) and severe-service International Paystar, Paystar series. Through its production, International Harvester (and later Navistar) produced the model line in three distinct generations. Offered in multiple layouts, the Transtar 4000/9000 series was offered with single or tandem drive axles, multiple hood lengths, and multiple cab configurations (day cabs or various sizes of Truck#Cab, sleeper cabs). International Harvester
The International Harvester Company (often abbreviated IH or International) was an American manufacturer of agricultural and construction equipment, automobiles, commercial trucks, lawn and garden products, household equipment, and more. It was formed from the 1902 merger of McCormick reaper, McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and Deering Harvester Company and three smaller manufacturers: Milwaukee; Plano; and Warder, Bushnell, and Glessner (manufacturers of the Champion brand). Its brands included McCormick, Deering, and later McCormick-Deering, as well as International. Along with the Farmall and Cub Cadet tractors, International was also known for the International Scout, Scout and Travelall vehicle nameplates. In the 1980s all divisions were sold off except for International Trucks, which changed its parent company name to Navistar International (NYSE: NAV). International Transtar
The International TranStar (originally the International 8000 Series) is a range of Class 8 trucks produced by Navistar International for North America. Produced nearly exclusively as a Tractor unit, semitractor, the product range is focused towards local delivery and regional shipping. Introduced in 2002, the 8000 Series replaced a product line of the same name derived from the long-running International Harvester S-Series. Kenworth T600
The Kenworth T600 is a model line of conventional-cab trucks that were produced by the American truck manufacturer Kenworth from 1984 to 2007. Distinguished by its aerodynamic sloped hood, the T600 was a Truck classification#Class 8, Class 8 truck, typically sold in semitractor configuration. While aerodynamic devices (such as roof fairings) had been introduced on Class 8 trucks in the mid-1970s, the T600 was the first American semitractor designed from the ground up with aerodynamics and fuel economy in mind. Sharing design commonality with the Class 8 W900, the T600 differs from its counterpart largely with its set-back front axle, hood, and lower bodywork (with the Aerocab later adopted by the W900L).
