Interbrigades
The Interbrigades () is a volunteer movement organized by the unregistered Russian National Bolshevism, National Bolshevik political party The Other Russia of E. V. Limonov, "The Other Russia" to participate in the War in Donbas (2014–2022), armed conflict in eastern Ukraine on the side of the Donetsk People's Republic and the Luhansk People's Republic. The Interbrigade movement, according to its members, was formed in May 2014. According to Zakhar Prilepin, a former member of the Other Russia, by January 2015 the movement had transported over 2,000 fighters to Donbas. According to the published sources of the rebel group, they took part in the battles for Sloviansk and Kramatorsk, and also were engaged in the protection of the leader of the "Other Russia" Eduard Limonov during his visit to the Luhansk region. Separatist Forces Of The War In Donbas
Russian separatist forces in Ukraine, primarily the People's Militias of the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR) and the Luhansk People's Republic (LPR), were pro-Russian paramilitaries in the Donbas region of eastern Ukraine. They were under the overall control of the Russian Federation. They were also referred to as Russian proxy forces. International Brigades
The International Brigades () were soldiers recruited and organized by the Communist International to assist the Popular Front (Spain), Popular Front government of the Second Spanish Republic during the Spanish Civil War. The International Brigades existed for two years, from 1936 until 1938. It is estimated that during the entire war, there were some 32,000 Brigaders. Beyond the Spanish Civil War, "International Brigades" is also sometimes used interchangeably with the term List of foreign volunteers, foreign legion in reference to military units comprising foreigners who volunteer to fight in the military of another state, often in times of war. Benes Khristoferovich Ayo (, ; born 8 June 1979), also known by his nickname "Black Lenin" (), is a Latvian-born Russian political activist and soldier. He has been active in the National Bolshevik movement since 1998 and has been repeatedly arrested and imprisoned for his political activities in various countries. Born in the city of Rēzekne to a Russian mother and a Ugandan father, Ayo spent most of his early life in Latvia before moving to the United Kingdom to pursue his master's degree at Birkbeck College, University of London. He joined the Communist Party of Great Britain (Marxist–Leninist) during his time in London and participated in many of the party's demonstrations. In 2014, Ayo travelled to Crimea to support the Russian annexation of the peninsula. Eduard Limonov
Eduard Veniaminovich Limonov (né Savenko; , ; 22 February 1943 – 17 March 2020) was a Russians, Russian writer, poet, publicist, political dissident and politician. He emigrated from the Soviet Union in 1974, but returned to Russia in 1991, where he founded the National Bolshevik Party. The party was banned in the country in 2007 and superseded by The Other Russia of E. V. Limonov, The Other Russia.
