Inter-Provincial Championship
The Inter-Provincial Championship is a three-day cricket tournament in Ireland, played between regional teams drawn from three of Ireland's five provincial unions. It parallels first-class cricket tournaments in other countries such as the County Championship of England and the Sheffield Shield of Australia. The tournament was held for the first time in 2013 across venues in Ireland. Up to and including the 2016 tournament, the matches were not given first-class status. However, at an International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting in October 2016, first-class status was awarded to all future matches, starting with the 2017 tournament. Pakistan National Cricket Team
The Pakistan men's national cricket team represents Pakistan in international cricket. It is controlled by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), the governing body for cricket in Pakistan, which is a Full Member of the International Cricket Council (ICC). 2013 Interprovincial 3-Day
The 2013 Interprovincial Championship was the first season of the Inter-Provincial Championship, the domestic multi-day cricket competition of Ireland. The competition was between Leinster Lightning, Northern Knights and North West Warriors. The inaugural Inter-Provincial Championship was won by the Leinster Lightning, who clinched the title with one match to spare. Despite falling just four runs short of victory in their opening match, they then won their next two games before closing with a hard-fought, high-scoring draw against Northern Knights in the last game of the year at Waringstown. Freddie Klokker
Frederik Andreas Klokker (born 13 March 1983) is a Danish cricketer, who has played for Denmark's national cricket team. Klokker is a left-handed batsman and wicket-keeper. He was born in Odense, Funen County. In August 2021, he made his Twenty20 International (T20I) debut for the Danish national side as the team's captain. Early career Having played six Youth One Day Internationals for Denmark Under-19s in the 1998 Under-19 World Cup, Klokker made his debut for Denmark in a List A match against Ireland in the 2000 ICC Emerging Nations Tournament in Zimbabwe. The Munster Cricket Union is one of five provincial governing bodies for cricket in Ireland. Along with the Connacht, Northern, Leinster and North West unions, it makes up the Irish Cricket Union (now known as Cricket Ireland), the overall governing body of Irish cricket. Boyd Rankin
William Boyd Rankin (born 5 July 1984) is a Northern Irish former cricketer who played international cricket for Ireland, and briefly also played for England. He is a right-arm medium-fast bowler. He is the brother of fellow cricketer David Rankin. Born in Derry, Rankin is a tall bowler who stands at 6 ft 8 inches and has a distinctive bouncing action in his bowling. Eoin Joseph Gerard Morgan (born 10 September 1986) is an Irish-born English former cricketer and current commentator. Edmund Christopher Joyce (born 22 September 1978) is an Irish cricket coach and former cricketer who played for both the Ireland and England national cricket teams. The 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup was the tenth Cricket World Cup. It was played in India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, while the latter hosted World Cup matches for the first time.
