Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre
Inspiration Lake (), officially known as Inspiration Lake Recreation Centre (), is a artificial lake located in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. The lake, opened on 16 August 2005, was created as part of the development of adjacent Hong Kong Disneyland Resort as a dual-purpose project for recreation and an irrigation reservoir. Inspiration Lake was built by the Hong Kong Government and managed by the Hong Kong International Theme Parks. It opens daily from 09:00 - 19:00; entrance is free. Facilities The entire Recreation Centre has a total area of about , and consists of the — the largest artificial lake in Hong Kong, a boat centre, arboretum, jogging trail with exercise areas and a children's playground. Penny's Bay
Penny's Bay or Chok Ko Wan () is a bay in north-eastern Lantau Island, and had been a port since the Ming dynasty. The bay has since been reclaimed and is the site of the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort, which consists of the Hong Kong Disneyland theme park, Disneyland Hotel, and Disney's Hollywood Hotel, and the Inspiration Lake. During the COVID-19 pandemic, it became home to Penny's Bay Community Isolation Facility. It is connected by a highway and a rail connection on the MTR Disneyland Resort line to Sunny Bay station. Penny's Bay is located in Tsuen Wan District, but a small southern portion falls in Islands District. Long Win Bus Company Limited (LWB; ) is a bus company operating franchised services in Hong Kong. It provides bus service between Hong Kong International Airport, North Lantau New Town and the New Territories. It is a subsidiary of Transport International. History Long Win Bus began operations on 22 May 1997, operating peak-hour services after the opening of the Tsing Ma Bridge. The first route operated by Long Win Bus was route E31 ( Tung Chung to Tsuen Wan Pier when newly introduced), served by Volvo Olympians. But later on, Volvo Olympians have been retired from the bus fleet, and were transferred to its parent company, Kowloon Motor Bus. The company's franchise was extended from June 2003 to May 2013. Disneyland Resort () is a station on the Hong Kong MTR . It was built to serve the Hong Kong Disneyland Resort and Theme Park, and is located in Penny's Bay.
