''Innocence Surround'' is the debut release by American metalcore band Confide, released in June 2005. Background Only one of the members of this release was still part of the band until the time of Confide's break-up, which was Jeffrey Helberg. Aside from this, Helberg and two other Confide members (William "Billy" Pruden and Aaron VanZutphen) that played on this release stayed a part of the band up until the ''Shout the Truth'' recording. Confide (band)
Confide was an American metalcore band from Anaheim, California, formed in 2004. They have released two EPs and three full-length albums. Although all the members of the group are openly Christian, they have not been marketed in the Christian market since the band is on a secular label. The band toured across the United States, following their debut album Shout the Truth, but also toured Europe and Asia with later albums. On October 4, 2010, Frontman Ross Kenyon announced that the band would be disbanding after their Japan tour. The band played their farewell show on November 7, 2010 in Pomona, CA. The band temporarily reformed in August 2012 to write and record their third full-length record titled "All is Calm" through Kickstarter. All is Calm was released on July 30, 2013 and a short tour was booked to promote the new record. Deathcore is an extreme metal subgenre that combines death metal with metalcore. The genre consists of death metal guitar riffs, blast beats, and metalcore breakdowns. ''Shout the Truth'' is the debut full-length album by American metalcore band Confide, released on June 17, 2008 Background The album was released on Science Records (Warner Bros.), the same label as Blessthefall and Greeley Estates were on at that time, before the label shut-down. ''Shout the Truth'' was the first album featuring England-native Ross Kenyon, besides the group's 2008 demo recording. Two of the songs from the demo were also re-recorded for this full-length; "Zeal" and "The Bigger Picture".
