Innerpartysystem (often stylized as InnerPartySystem) is an American electronic rock band. The group consists of Patrick Nissley, Jared Piccone and Wuki, Kris Barman. The band is well known for their live performance lighting largely by Andrew Nissley and videos directed by Stephen Penta. The band was named for a term used in the George Orwell novel ''Nineteen Eighty-Four''. Their debut EP ''The Download EP'' was released in November 2007 and their Innerpartysystem (album), debut self-titled album in late September 2008. As of late 2008 the band started releasing seasonal mixtapes, new remixes including Ladyhawke (musician), Ladyhawke's track "Paris Is Burning (song), Paris Is Burning" and Katy Perry's "Hot n Cold". In May 2009 the band digitally released the UK equivalent of ''The Download EP'', entitled ''Heart of Fire EP, Heart of Fire''. Kill Hannah was an American rock band formed in 1993 in Chicago, Illinois. The band released six studio albums, seven EPs, and two compilation albums as well as three DVDs. History Kill Hannah was formed by singer-songwriter Mat Devine in 1993. The band is named after Devine's ex-girlfriend. At the time, Devine was singing and playing guitar in a band called In a Jar UK. After the fallout with Hannah, Devine printed up stickers to place on In a Jar UK 7" records bearing the name "Kill Hannah." All of Kill Hannah's studio albums, EPs, promos, and demos between 1996 and 2000 were funded by entertainment lawyer Jack Daulton. "Don't Stop" is the debut single by the American band Innerpartysystem from the band's self-titled debut album. Before being mastered the song was officially released on the band's debut EP (although an earlier demo had been published on the band's MySpace profile beforehand). The single was re-released mainly due to poor endorsement by American music channels. The lyrics of the song focus on celebrity culture and lies within the media and celebrities. The lyrics are sung in first person as a celebrity who may have no specific talent or is famous purely because of his/her wealth (famous for being famous) and this person is only interested in the attention to which a celebrity may receive, in the song these people are perceived as liars. The song portrays these celebrities as the public's entertainment and the public wrongly feed these celebrities with their attention. Mindless Self Indulgence (often referred to as MSI) is an American electropunk band formed in New York City in 1997. Their music has a mixed style which includes punk rock, alternative rock, electronica, techno, industrial, hip hop, and breakbeat hardcore. History Between 1987 and 1996, Jimmy Urine recorded about 35 songs which varied in musical style, usually settling in an industrial/electronic punk style. These songs were recorded with himself and his brother, Markus Euringer in New York City using rudimentary equipment.
