Inna Șupac
Inna Șupac (born 9 February 1984) is a Moldovan civil activist and former politician who served as a member of the Moldovan Parliament for 10 years (2009 - 2019). Șupac has a degree in international relations from the Free International University of Moldova (2002–2006). From October 2006 to October 2007, she studied at the European Institute of Political Science in Moldova, and between October 2007 and September 2008 she did a master's degree in anthropology at the Higher Anthropological School of Moldova. In May 2006, she was recognized as one of the best students in Moldova, having received the 1st grade of Bursa de Merit scholarship, established by the Council of Rectors of the Republic of Moldova with the support of the Soros Foundation Moldova. Moldovan Parliament
The parliament of the Republic of Moldova () is the supreme representative body of the Republic of Moldova, the only state legislative authority, being a unicameral structure composed of 101 elected MPs on lists, for a period or legislature of four years. The parliament of Moldova is elected by universal vote, equal directly, secret and freely expressed. The president of the parliament of the Republic of Moldova is elected by the Parliament, with a minimum of 52 votes. The Constitutional Court of the Republic of Moldova, on a proposal of the Central Electoral Commission, decides to validate or invalidate the mandate of the Member of Parliament. The mandate is invalid in the case of violation of electoral legislation. The Parliament is meeting at the convening of the Speaker of the Parliament within 30 days of the elections. TV8 (Moldovan TV Channel)
TV8 (formerly TV7) is a nonprofit television network based in Chișinău, Moldova. It is owned by the Public Association “Media Alternativa”, whose executive director is Natalia Morari. TV8 uses a programming strategy of international movies and tv shows, as well as local talk shows and news broadcasting. In 2017 the then owner of the channel, Chiril Lucinschi, transferred his ownership to "Media Alternativa". After the transfer, TV7 rebranded to TV8. The television channel was launched on 1 March 2006 as TV7 and changed its name to TV8 on 29 June 2017, 11 years after it was called TV7. Vladimir Plahotniuc (born 1 January 1966), commonly referred to as Vlad Plahotniuc, is a Moldovan politician and oligarch and the vice president of the parliament of Moldova in 2010-2013. He was the chairman of the Democratic Party of Moldova (24 December 2016 – 24 June 2019) and previously was a member of the Parliament of Moldova for three terms (December 2010 – October 2013, December 2014 – July 2015, February 2019 – July 2019), and served as First Vice President of the Parliament of Moldova (December 2010 – February 2013). Basarabeasca () is a city in Moldova. It is the capital of Basarabeasca District. Geography The city, formerly an urban-type settlement, is located on the border with Ukraine. It is 94 km to the south of the national capital Chişinău, 25 km from Cimislia, and 25 km from Comrat. The river Cogâlnic flows through the city from northwest to southeast, continuing on to the Black Sea. The main populated areas are in the lowlands.
