Iniquity (band)
Iniquity was a Danish death metal group. Established in 1989, the band released three full-length albums before parting ways in 2004. History Iniquity was formed in 1989 in Copenhagen, Denmark by Peter Houd, Brian Petrowsky and Morten Hansen. During the first years of the band's history two demo tapes were released and they appeared on several Compilation CDs e.g. on the Fuck You We're from Denmark compilation in 1992 with the song "Torn" (taken from the '' Entering Deception'' demo). After that release the band split up for a time but started it up again with Morten Hansen and Brian Petrowsky together with Jacob Olsen (drums and backing vocals). After Jacob Olsens entry, it was decided to pull Iniquity onto a new path away from the more traditional style of death-thrash with lyrics centered mostly around real life issues of psychology to a more doom metal inspired and leaned-back style of gloomy death-thrash also influenced by the early mid-paced US death metal scene and the l ... René Madsen
René Madsen (born 1 December 1972) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career Madsen came to prominence in 1991 when he won the silver medal at the Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship behind Kim Brandt. He duly competed in the Speedway Under-21 World Championship and reached the final of the 1992 Speedway Under-21 World Championship as the reserve. In 1993, he reached a second consecutive final and finished 13th in the 1993 Speedway Under-21 World Championship. The performances attracted interest from Britain and Madsen made his British leagues debut during the 1993 British League Division Two season, where he rode for Oxford Cheetahs. Mads Haarløv
Mads Haarløv was the guitarist and vocalist for the Danish death metal band Iniquity. He joined the band in 1993 as a lead guitarist only and left in 1995. He returned in 1999, now as lead guitarist and vocalist too, and stayed until the band's split in 2004. In 2000 Haarløv formed a death metal band with Morten Løwe Sørensen and fellow Iniquity members, Kræn Meier and Martin Rosendahl called Strangler which has released one demo so far, ''Infinite Blood Abundance'' in 2004. The band is still active and have recently acquired the vocal talents of Dave Ingram who also sings for fellow Danish metallers Downlord. Haarløv was also a session guitarist for Corpus Mortale. When Mads Haarløv and Jacob Olsen left Iniquity they formed Swollen. Jacob Olsen (born 18 September 1972) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career Olsen came to prominence after reaching the final of the Under-21 World Championship on two occasions in 1991 and 1993. He had previously won the bronze medal in the Danish Under 21 Individual Speedway Championship in 1989. He started racing in the British leagues during the 1993 British League season, when riding for the Coventry Bees. Morten T. Hansen is a Norwegian-American professor, management theorist, motivational speaker and author. Biography Hansen obtained his BA in political science from the University of Oslo in Norway. He received his Master of Public Administration from the Middlebury Institute of International Studies at Monterey. His MSc in accounting and finance was obtained at the London School of Economics. Sacrificial (band)
Sacrifice is the offering of material possessions or the lives of animals or humans to a deity as an act of propitiation or worship.
