Ingvild Aleksandersen
Ingvild Aleksandersen (born 1968) is a Norwegian lawyer who served as county governor of Finnmark from 2016 to 2018. As of 1 January 2024, she serves as the acting county governor of Østfold, Buskerud, Oslo and Akershus. Personal life Aleksandersen was born in 1968 in Vadsø, the administrative centre of Finnmark, the country's northernmost county. Education and career Aleksandersen graduated from the University of Oslo in 1995 with a cand.jur. degree. She then worked as a lawyer in private practice, for the Finnmark Estate, and for the Finnmark County Municipality. From 2013-2016, she was the assistant county governor of Finnmark under Gov. Gunnar Kjønnøy. On 1 October 2016, she was appointed as County Governor of Finnmark county. This job was temporary because the Government of Norway was re-evaluating the counties in Norway and the future of Finnmark as a separate county after 2019 was uncertain. Ingvild Kjerkol (born 18 May 1975) is a Norwegian politician. A member of Labour Party (Norway), Labour Party, she was elected to the Parliament of Norway from Nord-Trøndelag (Storting constituency), Nord-Trøndelag first time in 2013, and re-elected in 2017 and 2021. She has been a member of the Standing Committee on Transport and Communications, and of the Standing Committee on Health and Care Services. From 2021 to 2024, she served as minister of health and care services. Jan Martin Vevatne (born 27 January 1950) is a former Norwegian politician for the Liberal Party. He grew up in Sola, and graduated from Volda Teachers' College in 1972. He then moved to Asker where he worked as a school teacher until 1986. He worked as a consultant and with banking before becoming organizational leader in the Norwegian Society for the Conservation of Nature from 1992 to 2007. Career She won her first competition in the sprint event in the Tour de Ski on 31 December 2013. Ingvild Almås (born 1978) is a professor of economics at the Institute for International Economic Studies (IIES) at Stockholm University. She is also an external member of the new committee on monetary policy and financial stability in Norges Bank, the central bank of Norway. Almås obtained her PhD from the Norwegian School of Economics in 2008 with a thesis on economic inequalities for which she received Norges Bank's award for best PhD thesis in macroeconomics.
