Inger Johanne Grytting (born 1949 in Svolvær) is a Norwegian artist primarily known for drawing and painting. She lives and works in New York City. Inger Johanne Grytting has exhibited her art extensively in Norway and internationally. Grytting is included in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design, Oslo; Stavanger Kunstmuseum, Stavanger; Nordland fylkeskommune, Nordland, the Albany Print Museum, Albany Institute of History & Art, and others. Svolvær () is the administrative centre of Vågan Municipality in Nordland County, Norway. It is located on the island of Austvågøya in the Lofoten archipelago, along the Vestfjorden. The Vigeland Museum ( no, Vigelandmuseet) is a museum dedicated to Gustav Vigeland in Frogner, Oslo. It is located outside Frogner Park, which includes the Vigeland installation with sculptures by Gustav Vigeland. The museum is part of Oslo municipality's cultural department. Nordnorsk Kunstmuseum is a Norwegian visual arts museum in Northern Norway. The Northern Norwegian Museum of Art is responsible for the entire northern region and in 2010 established a separate department for the nationwide program.
