Ingarö Ladies Open
The Ingarö Ladies Open was a women's professional golf tournament on the Swedish Golf Tour (women), Swedish Golf Tour and LET Access Series played between 1993 and 2014 near Stockholm, Sweden. At the 2013 event Solheim Cup player Charlotta Sörenstam was in contention after opening rounds of 68 and 69, but had to settle for a tie for 7th after a final round of 75. In 2014, 18-year-old Georgia Hall finished solo third in her professional debut, one stroke behind Caroline Rominger. Ingarö
Ingarö is an island in Värmdö Municipality, Stockholm County. The chief settlement is called Brunn. With an area of 63.26 km2, it is the 16th biggest island in Sweden. Petroglyphs indicate that the island has been inhabited since the Nordic Bronze Age. For most of the 20th century the resident population decreased, while at the same time many vacation homes were built. However, in recent years population has grown as new homes are being built and vacation homes are being converted into permanent homes. Improved communications has made it feasible to commute to Stockholm. In Ingarö cemetery lie the remains of the first Swedish aviator, Carl Cederström, also known as Kalle Flygare. The island has a 36-hole golf course, as well as tennis courts. A nude beach is located at Återvallssjön, the first of its kind in Sweden. The 2009 Swedish Golf Tour, known as the SAS Masters Tour for sponsorship reasons, was the 24th season of the Swedish Golf Tour, a series of professional golf tournaments for women held in Sweden and Finland. 2009 was the second and final season with Scandinavian Airlines (SAS) as main sponsor, as the airline ran into financial difficulties due to the Great Recession. Purses were reduced and the LET event Göteborg Masters, where 25 places were reserved for players of the tour, was cancelled. Karin Börjeskog, Hanna-Leena Ronkainen and Anna Rossi all won two events, and Börjeskog won the Order of Merit. Isabella Ramsay
Isabella Ramsay (born 12 July 1987) is a Swedish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour. Career Ramsay turned professional in 2006 and joined the Swedish Golf Tour (SGT) in 2007. She won her first two SGT events in 2012, and joined the LET Access Series in 2013. In the 2014 LET Access Series, she won the Kristianstad Åhus Ladies PGA Open and the Royal Belgian Golf Federation LETAS Trophy, and graduated to the Ladies European Tour as one of the top-5 on the Order of Merit along with Daisy Nielsen, Lina Boqvist, Tonje Daffinrud and Emma Westin. Kaisa Ruuttila
Kaisa Ruuttila (born 14 October 1983) is a Finnish professional golfer who played on the Ladies European Tour between 2007 and 2013. She won the 2007 South African Ladies Masters and the 2010 Ladies Finnish Open. Career Ruuttila played for the National Team and represented Finland at three successive Espirito Santo Trophies. She won the Nordic Championship in 2005 and the Finnish Matchplay Championship in 2006. She finished 9th at the 2005 Ladies Finnish Masters, an LET event. Ruuttila turned professional in December 2006 after she earned an LET card at Q-School. In her rookie year, she tied for 6th at the Finnair Masters in her native Finland. Madelene Maria Sagström (born 13 November 1992) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the U.S.-based LPGA Tour. She won the 2020 Gainbridge LPGA at Boca Rio and was runner-up at the 2021 Women's British Open.
